Finally back on the bike! What a good feeling. And the weather couldn´t be better to go for a ride, 2 days full of sunshine. Annie was taking this picture while I was explaining her some settings on the camera... What a Snapshot! 😂 Hope you had a cracker weekend!
Day 5. Last night we drank some beer with Swiss riders. #romanian beer is... good. We had late start in the morning and first order was to find a motorcycle store to get wet weather gear. Swiss bikers told us that we were lucky and they got caught by a thunderstorm in the mointains, temperature dropped to around 10c. So wet weather gear was really needed. We found a shop and guys spoke english! They told us not to ride 7C in the weekend, because it’s too crowded. So we pushed towards Bucharest and Constanta. Found a camping site in Vama Veche. Temperatures were between 33-37c and dropped down to 30 near the coast
Took a break from the TET and decided to head straight south to get some distance done. There are many abandoned factories along the east coast of Spain (I’d say there are more abandoned than active ones).
Not much beauty, except of the region of the Ebro river delta. Endless fields which are separated by man made canals for watering.
Tomorrow I will go back to the interior of the country.
It was nice to rise above the smoke and the heat on the Beartooth Highway, which is another place that’s nearly impossible to capture. This was the first stop, at only about 9,000 ft. First picture is just my GS, second with Mark’s AT, then looking back along the road and finally looking down into the Valley 3,000 or so feet below. It had snowed up here 3 days before my arrival on August 7th. #Beartooth#beartoothhighway#beartoothpass
Long traffic jam on the border from Spain into Andorra. No problem for me 😉
Was riding the TET all day long!
This dirt road is just incredible.
The feeling you get when you’re riding alone on a gravel road above the clouds can’t be described in words. You gotta feel it! (pictures will follow)
Dual Sport vs Dirt Bike video coming soon! I also did a "catching up" vlog because I kinda fell off the face of the planet for a while. Beautiful ride today on one of the best trails... pause... in da world.
After 3 weekends of working on the bike I finally finished today! New Touratech rear shock, MC Cruise Control, Cyclops LED Conversion, Rottweiler Intake System. Can´t wait to go and test it this weekend!
