Enjoying Lake Ohrid at the beach with @rudescience. 💕
Seriously, September is SO underrated for beach trips. 🏖️ Depending on where you are, the weather is sometimes BETTER than the scorching hot summer. 🔥 Plus, it’s less crowded! And hotels are usually much cheaper. Especially because our hotel for this trip was actually FREE with a promo code (the Balkans are budget friendly)! 💸
Not an ad but we got $25 off for using Booking.com. You can get the same deal for yourself if you’re planning a weekend trip coming up whether it’s sandy or not! ✈️ Link in bio.
NEW BLOG POST | WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT GENOA CITY IN ITALY
I have been to Italy many times already. However, the city of Genoa (Genova) in the Liguria region was somehow never on my itinerary. Until now, that is. And what a pleasant surprise it has been!
Genoa has such a great vibe to it. Here you can spend your entire day just strolling around the historical city center, sightseeing, drinking coffee and eating pasta, gelato and pizza until you cannot eat anymore.
What I like most about Genoa is probably the fact that it is not overrun by tourists. It is such an authentic place. Want to know more about this Italian city? Read my new blog post at FindingMyOhm.com (LINK IN BIO).

When in Rome! Spent the day recovering from the weekly travels. Figured out how to use the espresso machine; did NOT figure out the dual washer and dryer; had some amazing gelato, pasta and wine. All in all a day that felt like a vacation. #27milesdown#Rome#EuroAdventures
Only four more days till the start of #Oktoberfest and there’s only one more question left to answer....

Well that's the end of another adventure, alot of laughing and some great fish aswell. It was tough going for @fisherarron And myself, but I was lucky enough to have a few belters. BRING ON THE NEXT ADVENTURE...........ITALY !!!!
Cannot believe I am almost entering my last week as a 20-something! The big 3-0 was always a dot on the horizon, but now it is getting REALLY close. It makes me feel a bit anxious. And excited at the same time. What will my 30’s have in store for me?
My life has changed so much over the past decade. I graduated university, bought a house, went through the worst break-up of my life (and recovered!), got to try out different jobs, made new friends and started traveling solo. It has been one big learning experience.
And the learning continues as I am getting to the 10th month of traveling the world on my own. I often describe my journey as if my personal development has been put in a pressure cooker. Being challenged, finding out more about who I am and exploring new territory non-stop.
As I am currently preparing myself to explore 2 new continents, I actually feel kind of ready to face my 30th birthday. I have come a long way. And instead of desperately holding on to my 20’s, I see 30 as something that is to be deserved. Let us view every birthday as a golden medal for our accomplishments so far!
