Beautiful dandelion. These remind me of being a kid and blowing on them and making a wish. 💕💕💕I’m thinking that I might have to turn this into a tattoo. Do any of you have dandelion tattoos?? I’d love to see them if you do. 💕💕💕
Soooo...you know I never post where I am. But this is just too important not to. #bbaaviation my parent company is a sponsor of @oneyoungworld and I was selected to be a delegate at #oyw2018 . Here to, as always, advocate for #ethicalfashion and sustainable supply chains. So here I am in #thehague . After a few days in Amsterdam. Excited!!! More pics, quotes, and info as the week carries on. Sending you all love and light and the energy to fight for a more just world. #mynaam
EPISODE 25 is out! In this week’s episode, we jump into the world of ethical fashion with Kara Moseby of the Cultivated Conversations podcast and Cultivated.Fashion blog. We love the tagline behind their business: “As Cultivated.Fashion we want to come alongside women, especially moms, on their journey to living minimally and ethically with friendship, education, style, and cute clothes!” Kara talks us through why we should avoid “fast fashion”, and gives us tips for starting to think through our purchases in the sometimes overwhelming world of ethical fashion. We talk about the ways to think about purchasing in ways that are kind to people, the planet, and/or animals, the idea of Cost Per Wear, and how to get started with consignment shopping and shopping what we already own. Plus, Kara does the research for us and shares some of her favorite companies and sources for ethical fashion. @cultivatedfashion
At the top of the episode, we catch up a bit – Sarah talks sick days and starting the Keto diet, and Claire shares about her oldest son’s birthday party with a great new location idea!
It’s getting closer and closer. I got some more samples today and going to try them on all you beautiful curvy ladies over the next week. I’m hoping I finally have the sizing right. I’m crossing my fingers. 💕💕💕
konnichiwa from Japan! ⛩ want to see what I packed for a 21 day trip? It’s on the blog at elysestyled.com — and in this snap of my rack before it all went in the suitcase! What should I wear tomorrow?
We had a very long but uneventful flight, and I’m grateful I got to sleep a bit. A 16 hour time difference seems a lot more intense on the other end of it. Good morning US friends, it’s past my bedtime! 😴
Jetting off anywhere soon? 😻 don’t forget to bring with you our luxurious silk eyemask! Will help you adjust to the different time zone faster! Also, our silk eye mask will help your skin retain moisture when on the plane!
I always wonder how many yards of thread have passed through this little box... I bought it from a weaver, who bought it from another weaver. Who knows how many hands, and fibers and tools have touched it.
And now it is here with me. It’s fun to have that history with me while doing a largely solitary activity. Perhaps someday I’ll have a room full of weavers who I can share this history with.
A year ago I came up with the idea of making these lettershirts. I wanted to create more personalized children’s wear and make everything in my Copenhagen studio. Thank you everyone who ordered, shared and liked ❤️😍🙌🏻
