Balance is key in my opinion.There is no point in absolutely torturing yourself food wise for 6 week!!!(ITS NOT SUSTAINABLE PEOPLE)" your not a robot"! Ultimately in the long run you are only creating a bad relationship with food which in the long run is not healthy!! I used to HATE running. 🏃🏼♀️ I hated it SO much. 🙅🏼♀️ Like the idea of moving my legs at a quick pace for any length of time sounded T E R R I B L E 💥
Over the past few months, I’ve begun to incorporate it once or twice a week into my weekly workout routine 💪🏽and I’ve slowly grown to like it, and I’m seeing progress every time!! 💯
Why?! Because I’ve become consistent in working out, so I’m building endurance and strength to help in me in my runs! 💪🏽 NEVER thought I’d grow to love running or incorporate it into my week. But, here I am! 🤷🏼♀️ What’s something you never see yourself doing?! ❌Never say NEVER !! ❌

Omg...I’m in big trouble!!!!! Day of each show....emotions were riding high and the “happy” tears would flow. Well we are 2 weeks out today and let me tell you they were an absolute faucet during SS cardio this morning!!!!! There is a Yiddish word “kvell” that parents use describing things their kids...well I am kvelling this week at myself...setting goals YEARS ago and just amazed at this journey and where I’m at with 2 weeks still to go. Check ins were awesome all week...pictures blowing me away...the ❤️ and support from family and friends....and the simple text from my husband saying we need to get champagne at dinner after show to celebrate just pushed me over the edge. I spent my whole cardio session (oh and it was a LONG one) thinking about this year...my last week of hard core pushing....next Saturday starting my 2 days of depletion followed by filling up with CARBS...and then it’s PARTY TIME!!!!!!!! My ❤️❤️❤️❤️ is full....I’ve learned a lot!!!! (Oh here comes those damn tears again). This girl is bursting with excitement!!!!!!! Here’s to the next 2 weeks....may those lines get deeper....muscles get fuller....and continue to love and enjoy each and every minute!!!!
I’m currently laying in bed, with a full belly, and don’t plan on moving for awhile. Thankfully, baby needs a nap because mommy does too.
I did not expect to come within 55 seconds of my lifetime PR today. I did not truly think I’d break 1:40. But I shot for the moon. I surpassed the moon. And I hit, like, Saturn maybe? Official time was 1:35:51!
Happy birthday to me! I worked hard today, but I know I have more in me! I’m that much closer to qualifying for NYC with a half marathon (1:32), and maybe even running sub 1:30!
But for now, I’m going to lay in this bed with a full belly. Because I ran hard and it’s my birthday and that’s what I want to do!
It’s all about your personal growth... I’m proud to say that I cringe 😖 a little at the person I was 5, 10, 15 years ago. And that’s a GREAT thing👏🏻... it’s the mark of “progress” ✅and “growth”🌱. I want to say one thing... this accomplishment came over the course of 4 years of consistently showing up at the gym with good coaches and training partners from the community at @crossfitrise to @sambisson15 who I train with now! It’s not hard, and I’ve said this before, it’s a mindset. If you surround yourself with people who want to see you achieve your goals, you’ve already won! Everything else that comes after that is just secondary to your actions! YOU ARE IN CONTROL, so do this for me, PLEASE START.... start anything. If you need help or guidance please reach out to me or anyone you know will help you achieve whatever it is you want to achieve! That goes for all aspects of life! My inbox is always open! For a while now I've caught myself thinking. "I wish I was the type of person to get up early, read, and journal." And this past week I found this super cute notebook ON SALE so I considered it a sign!
So starting Wednesday (cause there's no time like the present to start) I started getting up earlier and trying it out! I'll keep you posted on how it's going, but so far I'm really surprised how much I am loving it!
Soak it all in.

The hardships, the “failures” (to me, it’s only a failure if you never did anything, otherwise it’s a lesson), the “no’s”, and the closed doors are all part of the process. For those who truly want it bad, those obstacles are the fuel that keeps you going, working harder and fighting stronger. 🔥
You see, when things don’t go as planned, it’s ok to feel disappointed and frustrated, it’s completely understandable. What you don’t want to do is stay in your pity party for too long because that’s when you stay stuck. Acknowledge the situation and look at it as another opportunity to really reflect on what you want and why you want it. How is what you’re trying to achieve aligned with your values? Make the appropriate adjustments and hit the ground running! You got this! .
