Shout out to @biggsburke for this. On Future’s DS2 he said “They tried to turn me into a pop star, instead they turned me into a monster” I feel that line every time I listen to I Serve The Base. If you’re an extremely competitive person that’s all about always progressing at whatever you do, this post should relate to this post. All the people trying to make it happen while others are setting down, even when the going gets tough, NEVER FOLD. Regret is a dreadful feeling you don’t want have. Just ask yourself, how bad do you want it? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #hiphop#hiphophead#hiphopculture#hiphopmusic#hiphopjournalism#hiphopmedia#motivation#hustle#grind#repeat#enjoytheprocess
Sometimes, I love to sulk in my own pity and complain about silly 1st world problems. When this happens... it’s usually a sign to participate in an activity that makes your face look like this 👆🏻
I often need the painful reminder that the answer to my 1st world, whiner baby 👶🏻 problems is simply - “Be Tougher. Don’t meditate on it.”, @jockowillink
Can't believe it's been 1 year since this happened 😂
But for real, this year, God has changed my perspective, my goals, and the reason why I want to live my life. I am not who I want to be, but thank God that I am not who I used to be! 🙏
Only thing that hasn't changed is my passion to "Fitness" 🏋️ anywhere and everywhere and laugh while I do it with family @tama_ir ♥️
Accidental cool camera angle! Got the whole body in frame thanks to the reflection. 😁 ...
I don’t usually train on Sunday’s but sometimes ya gotta make it work and fit it in. #geterdone 💪Core and treadmill sprints were on the menu today. Started off with some feet elevated planks and mountain climbers 🧗♀️ bringing the knee to the elbow and centre to the chest. ...
Happy sunny Sunday! ☀️❤️☕️☀️❤️
I set TWO resolutions for 2019. The first is to work on my mindset, to focus on the "GET TO" rather than the "have to." The second is #fuckgoals "What does that mean?" you ask. It means focusing on the process, rather than the outcome. It doesn't mean you shouldn't have what you want to accomplish in mind, but the PROCESS of achieving the goals IS the goal.
But WHY WAIT until 2019?! I'm focusing on these two things IMMEDIATELY. This picture is about halfway into a MILE sled drag that Coach @stads13 programmed after a max deadlift. When I saw this in our weekly programming email, I immediately thought, "that's awful, I don't want to do that." After crushing my previous 1-rep max deadlift by 2️⃣5️⃣ pounds, I thought "maybe Mike knows what he is doing with his programming. I'm lucky I am ABLE to do this (and it's NOT raining)." This is the face of me accepting that this is going to help me to accomplish so much and lift so much weight when the Ladies of Iron meet comes.
Learning to enjoy the process ⚡️
The process of achieving a goal is how you know you truly want it. If all you crave is the end result without wanting to put in the work, drop that goal right now. All it will lead you toward is misery.
“A one hour workout is 4% of your day. No excuses.”... Train insane” 🏋️♂️ ~
My latest venture into gym wear under the ‘Louisa Catharine’ label, includes duffel bags too! My choice of ‘go to bag’ for the gym! ~

Hiking is a great metaphor for life. You’re embarking on a journey and you have a goal, but the path to get there is winding and sometimes treacherous.
You may at times wonder if you’ve taken a “wrong turn” and you have to tolerate the discomfort and fear of the unknown and trust yourself to find the way.
When your path gets steep, has big drop offs, or if the weather turns, you need to dig deep within yourself to find that place of strength and resilience to move on.
You’re well served to let go of the goal and know that you’re getting there with each step. Remembering that the experience is about enjoying the process, not just the end result.
Once you’ve moved through discomfort, charted your path and found that inner strength to reach your goal, you have a new elevated perspective and appreciate yourself for showing up. -Natalie
"If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten."
Times change, people change, goals change, evolve, adapt, advance.
As a natural lifter, we have a problem. With all the success and publicity upon social medias and the entertainment industry glorifying enhanced steroid users to the gills, one can get caught up in body dysmorphia and always find themselves either inadequate or quite simply worthless. As a natural you can be big and strong or lean and somewhat strong, but not both. Whoever tells you that you can without drugs is lying through their teeth. You can have a little of both, keyword little, but if you wish to maximize one or the other, one of those (big and strong or lean and somewhat strong) is going to take a hit. Pick one and fuck the glorifying drug enhancement bullshit that plaques the internet and then entertainment industry.
That being said, I am 158lbs, 5'10" and 10% body fat with decent strength. I am done being lean and small. Time for me to get big and strong. With this I will have to sacrifice leanness, but it fits my goals and as a natural it is what it has to be. The Road to 220lbs begins, no more than 20% body fat though haha. Let's see this through...
This Region 5 Games in Botswana 🇧🇼 has been beyond compare for all of us 🔥🇿🇲🔥it will be remembered for the incredible competition, for the heat and hail storm, for the friendship and fellowship, for the laughter and the tears, and the selfless energy from everyone that made it quite sensational! Wherein we learned that, greatness was not, in what we have, but in what we gave! Continue to work on the things you know will give you what you deserve! 🇿🇲💪🏽🇿🇲 #EnjoyTheProcess#BeBetter
When I was young.
My parents were those people who really love freedom and we always hate entitlement.
I was raised to become those who always seek the purpose of my life. I thought I knew my purpose until life forced me to study myself again.
I was tremendously terrified by the delusions I used to have before. It was amazing to know that perspective can change the meaning of one word.
Same word but different perspective. Do you satisfy with your life?
