It was our last day in London and I wanted to spend some time with the flowers in Hyde Park. Autumn here is not quite as colorful as in Maine but there is still so much natural beauty. Michael also got to hang out with some ancient Roman & Greek statues at the British Museum while viewing one of the most famous and influential artifacts of all time: the Rosetta Stone. All in all, I’d say it was a good last day here in England. Tomorrow we catch a flight at 11:00am and head back home where I can only assume we’ll be more worldly and more exhausted.
Day 13: Today was filled with SO MUCH site-seeing around Manchester! Ians 2 aunts/his dad’s sisters took us out for a lovely day! We did the “Bee in the City” walk where we walked around looking at all the different bee statues around Manchester, while seeing historical buildings and sites. THEN I RANDOMLY found a flyer for a SPICE GIRLS exhibit that I OBVIOUSLY was going to, so we made our way through the city and it was one of our last stops. And just before we went into the exhibit (picture 1) top but is the picture my phone took right as I tripped and face planted on the ground (okay just my hands got scraped up) and the bottom photo is what I was racing too (I’m sure many of you knew my obsession was going to hurt me one day, we’ll at least I embarrassed myself in a city far away from home away from people I know hehe). (Picture 2) the Spice Bus!!!! Childhood made. GREAT DAY right before a night out on the town! Now to relax my feet a while 😁✌️🇬🇧 🚌 #Manchester#spicebus#spiceworld#spicegirlsexhibit#unicornmeat#faceplanting#tripping#siteseeing#uk#britain#England#englandvacation#unicorns#childhooddreamscametrue#vacation#holiday#familytime
