So something I think is awesome in the engineering field is the Lokomat which was developed by BME or biomedical engineers to help patients with things like walking therapy. This machine allows for less stress on the patient and allows for them to recover more efficiently and at a pace that is fit for there bodies which is really cool since it integrates robotic learning and shows how robots shouldn't be seen as only a threat to humanity's survival
It’s funny, today I was going to post this photo and say something along the lines of “feeling like a boss lady coming off this weekend and ready to get back to work after a much needed vacation”.
.....buuutttttt then I got into the office and realized that I had forgotten to do important admin work before leaving for said vacation 🤦🏼♀️. Whyyy. I even brought my laptop with me with the intention of doing it right away, but then completely forgot.
I guess I was too relaxed? Is that a thing?
Anyways, this has instead turned into a humbling post about how great it is to have understanding bosses that forgive you when you make stupid mistakes. Mondays, amirite?
Also - cracking up here because we attempted to take “power posing” pictures but they felt super corny. Does anyone power pose? Admittedly I have on occasion, just not in the middle of public spaces 😅.
Imagine having your lunch break here 😍😍 I know life can get super busy with school and work but make time in a day to just sit and relax. Eat lunch somewhere away from work. Go for a walk. Grab a tea or coffee with a coworker. Even a 15min break can be enough to recharge! .
