Loosened the Legs during the Tuesday Eve’s spinning session! 💃🏼🚴🏻‍♀️ After Sunday’s 30K run my legs have been as stiff as a rake #zostijfalseenhark, that I couldn’t even walk up or down the stairs (I took the elevator multiple times 🙊🙈), and even for small distance walks I took the bike... It was a pleasure to see both teams execute so well over the 16 hours, matching pit stops and lap times throughout the entire weekend. We all want to matter. We want to know that our work and pursuits in life have purpose. Meaning. Significance. For some, there is no struggle. They find deep fulfillment in their work and families. While it’s happening, I feel completely blindsided by it. But after it passes, I can usually spot some triggers. And all of them point to change. Change feels like death because your old self is dying. Similar to the season of fall rolling into winter. But with every winter, there follows a spring. Allow yourself to have the bad feeling. But don’t let yourself linger there too long. Believe me when I say your mind will go into complete panic, paranoia, or pity party mode. While it’s happening, I feel completely blindsided by it. But after it passes, I can usually spot some triggers. And all of them point to change. Change feels like death because your old self is dying. Similar to the season of fall rolling into winter. But with every winter, there follows a spring. Allow yourself to have the bad feeling. But don’t let yourself linger there too long. Believe me when I say your mind will go into complete panic, paranoia, or pity party mode. If it shifts into any of these modes, you will sink into the quick sand of despair. So be sure to cut it off. We all struggle with feelings of worthlessness at one point or another in life. Instead of staying trapped in the mindset of thinking you have nothing to offer, remind yourself of your strengths. Remember all that you’ve accomplished thus far. Know that everything you’ve endured has brought you to this point and that everything life has taught you someone else can learn from. There are people out there who need what you have to offer. T-9 und der Flieger zu meinem großen Abenteuer hebt ab. Es wird auch der erste Flug über so eine lange Distanz und die erste Reise außerhalb Europas. Also Abenteuer hoch drei. Und was soll ich sagen:  gestern und am Wochenende war ich irgendwie noch doch ziemlich platt und das Herbstwetter hat eher für Sofa-Stimmung als Angriffslaune gesorgt... doch heute bin ich motiviert bis unter die Haarspitzen und freue mich auf die Reise. Und wenn man selbst auf dem Laufband lieber "höher and weiter" wollte und sich ausbremsen musste, dann kann es so langsam losgehen. Radform ist so lala, Laufen 1A. Wird schon ;-)⠀

Yesterday I was really exhausted and the weather change created something like a relax mood instead of motivation. But today: motivated like hell and looking forward. Even on the treadmill I wanted to go longer and faster, but now it's time to taper it. Bike form is hmmm don't know, but running feels very good.⠀
