Juniors & Adv Juniors end of term shenanigans!
Big shout out to Jorja - who turns out did our entire dress rehearsal & show with a fractured wrist. Mum says she wasn’t missing any of it for anyone & instead, ironically, went to the Children’s Hospital that evening for it to be put into a splint. What a toughie 💪🏻
H O L I D A Y ☀️ it’s the last day of term - woo hoo! let the summer holidays commence! full time studio 9 for six whole weeks - super excited to design new things and update my (rather out of date) website! there’s time for a bit of down time too - my cousin is getting married next week so we are planning a few days in Cambridge too and possibly a trip to the Lake District!
Great evening celebrating the end of primary school with Parkside's Year 6 class. The photo booth went down really well and we had lots of fun! I wish the children all the best for secondary school. #photobooth#endofprimaryschool#endofterm#party
End of term feeling 🌿
Like lots of you I’m sure, in our house we are ready, oh SO ready, for the holidays - for a slower pace and a change of scene. And isn’t just about every single emotion squeezed into these last days of term? We’re heading to France for the first of our summer home exchanges tomorrow and I can’t WAIT! I’m going to be taking a break over here but I’ll be popping in from time to time to see what everyone’s up to. Happy summer, everyone! 🌿
Need a Thank You teacher/teaching assistant card? We got some lovely designs to choose from. Why not pick up some brownies, cupcakes or chocolate shards for them so they can put their feet up with a cuppa (or something stronger). We're open 10am-5pm today :) x
It’s time to say goodbye to those amazing teachers.. it’s been really sweet seeing so many kids genuinely excited to give these to teachers who’ve made such an impact on them this year. It’s such a hard job x
One day left, bishes!
This is my end of term hair do! This is also my hair do after putting my younger son Jovan to bed!
I sent him upstairs to get ready for bed. I then went to his room, only to find him wearing his snow suit. I was genuinely speechless. After the snow suit, he decided to go naked! Are your five year olds this crazy?! I am beyond tired! 😂😂😂 One day left. Then no more school runs until September.
When I work, I cover two schools. I don’t drive, so we walk on foot. My average step count comes to around 16000 steps a day. It’s crazy. But I love it, I genuinely love my job so much. I love the children and their parents. I will miss them during the summer holidays. But I have to say that the heat has taken it out of me lately. Especially the afternoon school runs.
I pick up at one school (infants) at 1500, then at the other school (juniors) at 1515. And my poor babies from the infant school have to race with me to get to the junior site on time, up a hill. I really feel sorry for them as they are still quite little. But at the same time I know that the exercise is very good for them, as well as the fresh air and the sunshine.
But I am tired and tomorrow evening can’t come soon enough. One day, just one day left and then I can work from home leisurely. Which will be so nice to do. I am really, really looking forward to longer cuddles in the mornings with my boys. Can’t wait! Xxx
I hope you all have a lovely holiday with your babies and plenty of rest 😘😘😘
