Don’t mistake a bitter taste 😖 for an unpleasant benefit… bitter foods have a healing affect on the heart. Endives: Potent Anti-inflammatory Effects on The Skin!
It is that time of year endives are abundantly found in our fruit and veggie stores. This vegetable has amazing effects on the skin and was one I frequently enjoyed during the psoriasis flare ups I had in my teens and early 20s.
If you can find organic endives or better yet a neighbour growing them in their garden, I would highly encourage you to drink the water they are boiled in. Many of the nutrients are water soluble so they escape the endives during cooking, but you can grab them and feed your body the cooling effects of these nutrients.
Great for anyone suffering any inflammatory condition such as acne, psoriasis, eczema and sensitive skin.
