Who are you going to call in an emergency when those responsible for the telecommunications have no backup system in place? It's just like a developing country (this is my world since 2001) where you are fully responsible for getting yourself and your family out of an emergency situation all by yourself! https://www.theage.com.au/business/companies/1400-triple-zero-calls-weren-t-connected-during-telstra-s-may-outage-report-20181019-p50at2.html #emergency#family#australia#theage
A great exercise to superset with your pull-ups or chins are parallel bar dips. Dips are another great closed-chain compound movement for the chest, shoulders and triceps that can be used in your strength session or as part of a circuit. To make the exercise more challenging, weight can be added via a weight belt or weighted vest.
State of Emergency Ministries, LLC will be ministering in Gadsden, AL tomorrow night for the annual Fall Festival event with Chick-fil-a. It's about to go all the way down in a major way, GOD is going to be SUPREMELY GLORIFIED in JESUS name!!! #state#of#emergency#nationwide @rubberducky3298

Neutral-grip pull-ups are another great closed-chain compound strength exercise that I’ll rotate into my supplementary strength exercises. The neutral grip puts your body into a stronger pulling position, as it brings in extension of the arms at the shoulder and also creates greater biceps involvement.
Anyone else’s Sunday not go according to plan? Yesterday I woke up limping and by the end of the day, couldn’t put much weight on my back left leg. My hoomans thought, “maybe we should see what happens when Matey wakes up and whether he feels any better?” But when I woke up, my ankle was double the size! Thanks to everyone at @friendship_hospital for getting me out of pain and bandaging me up... We’re meeting with the surgeon early this week to figure out what’s going on and get some more treatment. Send me good vibes plz!
Arrival conditions and 360 at a recent 🔥house fire🔥
Size up information from all sides must be gathered in the very early stages of a fire to ensure we are making the right tactical decisions. Where do the lines need to go? Where is the fire and where is it going? What are the ventilation needs? Egress issues - ladder needs, window bars etc? Without proper information, our actions are just a guess at what needs to be done. Maybe it will work out, maybe it won’t. Gathering the proper information helps ensure that what we do is the right thing to do.
Some departments do this by positioning initial companies on the Alpha and Charlie sides, some by “taking a lap”. Regardless of your operations and building types, the information must be gathered to ensure we make good decisions.
A good 360 should include information on:
✅ Configuration of the building
✅ Special / safety issues
A key issue of personal importance to me is, what is the building sitting on? A structure generally sits on either a basement, crawlspace, or a slab. Any of these can have fire conditions in them and must be checked early to ensure we do not have fire below us.
