One of my favorite spots in Elysian Park to take a moment and enjoy the views of LA... I’m working every day to maintain and improve my fitness, lately I’ve been incorporating much more strength work while somewhat toning down my running miles. In the coming months, I’m looking forward to ramping back up the distances and planning some big adventures. As for right now, I love being outside under the sun in nature, building a stronger body and mind. #trailrunningviews#veganathlete 🌱🏃♂️
Getting the good word out to Lotus Festival visitors about our July "Garbage to Garden" compost workshop. And this is what we heard: "Yes, I compost at home." "No, I dont compost but I want to learn because I want to start growing my own food." "I don't compost and I really want to STOP putting my food waste in the garbage. Where can I take my food scraps? "I'm composting now but its not working. Nothing happens. Why?" We're so excited to learn that the people of Los Angeles are so aware and conscious of the environmental impact of food waste.
We signed up a bunch of folks for our July 21 class and cant wait to get.our compost groove on.
