It was a great way to end a great season. Jeff was a good sport. @b_rowley2 and I couldn’t resist but to tell him we jumped the bull and it took off. We told him here is the gun start tracking. #bullridge#elk#kuiu#jokes#meatloaf#NV

Ok, honestly, red trees + white snow. Tell me it's not a good combo. There was one day one day during my trip when there was snow and trees with red leaves. It may have been 17°F outside but this was quite the sight to see... Because the very next day, the leaves and snow were gone
This was such a cool and memorable hunt for me. My brother and I hiked down an old logging road to an open sagebrush ridge. We started cow calling right at dusk and had a bull respond back to us with a series of high pitched bugles. Darkness was upon us, however the bright moon and stars reflecting off the snow was enough light that we found our way back to the truck without our flashlights. PC: @tylerfitte65
This was sent to my the other day from a buddy up around one of our fishing spots a elk got trapped in the canal and didnt make it out it does happen but I've never seen it or seen a dead one till he sent me this photo! #elk#nature#usethegamebridges
Yesterday morning seemed like a magical moment within the woods. The sun beamed between the trees, making the wet grass and tree branches glisten. While hearing some young elk still bugle, some elk were bedded down, and some were running. You could see this young elks warm breath as he chased his cows.
BASIC WHITE CHICKS BE LIKE In French, you don’t really say “I miss you.” You say “tu me manques,” which is closer to “you are missing from me.” WELL I DONT REALLY GIVE A CRAP WHAT THE FRENCH SAY. IN MY FRIEND GROUP WE SAY YEEYEE AND I THINK THATS BEAUTIFUL!!!! #YEEYEE#truebeauty
Came a cross this old photo. My first elk with a bow back in 2009. It was the first animal I harvested with a bow aswell! To me it wasn't only a bull down and some awesome meat in the freezer, it was a milestone accomplishment I've been striving for. It was the third hunting season since I became a paraplegic in February of 2006, and the second year out of a full cast back brace. The hunter and man I had grown up to be had all changed at a blink of an eye.
There was a decision I had to make in order to still follow my passion of the outdoors and hunting and fishing. I had to sit back and take a serious look at how I could still ENJOY hunting and also still be successful. Now not being able to hike or walk or cover the ground that I was used to the game plan had to change. Where there is will there is a way. I have found over my years spent outdoors, learning the area, animals and their behavior. Well also taking in habitat, moisture levels and the time of the year. Success can be achieved.! The only answer to success is the drive that YOU force yourself to have and strive for. In the end if YOU really want it, it can be obtained.
