Atlanta was necessary for my growth and #Elevation I'm so excited for all that God is going to do in this next chapter of my life. I'm beyond grateful for those who have played a tremendous part in my life the last 7 years. I know God has chosen me and His promise still stands. I will remember days like today when times get tough. Obedience requires sacrifice and my faith has been built on nothing less than His love and righteousness towards me. Send love and follow me on my journey of devotion and obedience as I continue to fulfill my purpose! #ElevateWithJanea#SoLongAtlanta#HelloCali#NamasteJanea
I was originally going to hike to the top of Y mountain - above these cliffs. It's a hike with a 3,400' elevation gain in 3.1 miles... but it's 100 F today and a bit humid.
I started after 3pm, and the sun was very strong. It didn't help that I felt nauseated and had stomach cramps all day before hiking.
It was all I could do to reach this point (1,100' elevation gain over 1.1 mile). It was incredibly hot. I drank more than 1/2 gallon of water and Gatorade, but I'm still thirsty. I'll end the day over a gallon.
