Had breakfast with @kueck2391 and didn’t even have to go off plan! Definitely my biggest test of willpower this morning though. I’ve never not ordered the French toast and breakfast bar when going to @portagebaycafe.
Another fit meal coming at ya!!! A double serving of Buttermilk @kodiakcakes topped with egg whites and avocado slices and sriracha sauce sprinkled on top. Calories are a little higher in this one, sitting at about 685, but this meal is super high in fiber and protein to keep you full👌👌👌

This was my mom’s breakfast today 🍳🌶 🍃 . She sent the photo 📸. Having a dietitian for a daughter has its perks! She looks about 10 years younger than she is and knows how to stay on track with healthy eating as “a way of life!” . 🌈

My mother hard boils eggs, my sister bakes them and I steam them. Each of us will tell you our method is the best...but in all seriousness: mine is the best. 😏 Easy to peel shells, no weird marks from the baking pan and no stink from the sulfur ring like you get from boiling.
Bring your pot of water to a boil, place your eggs (I do mine a dozen at a time) in the steamer with the lid on and set right on top of that boiling pot. 10 minutes for soft boiled eggs and 12 minutes for hard. Run those bad boys under cold water and put them in the fridge or peel them right away. Whatever option makes you happy, do that.

Anybody else baking salami slices to use as #keto crackers? I know I can’t be the first; I’m always surprised at all the ingenious recipes I come across here. This isn’t really ingenious, just baked some salami slices at 400 degrees until just crisp, but what a perfect tool for shoveling fresh guac into my face 🤗
