Audible is my new friend. I can cover one or few books a day easily. At first I thought it would distract my lashing speed and attention to clients, but tuning in with the right volume, I can enjoy the books and still lashing. Lashing speed gets faster as my mind is only focused on 2 tasks: listening and lashing, instead of let my mind wandering with distraction thoughts
Прострелянная всеми возможными калибрами майка (ноу вориз, это специально). Синяки да ссадины (не очень специально). После трэшовой ночки. Познакомившись с #Supertroopers вживую. Просто спасибо, что живой. А со всем остальным можно справиться.
Make Believe Achieve Series
Can not tell you how far me @ceboluthuli have come. I remember when we first started, the vision wasn’t really clear. Hours of filming wasted, having to spend more money on equipment, made me appreciate, how much time, money and effort this would require.
Today I added a new addition to the team, the #ef2470f28liiusm . I finally feel now where ready to start rolling.
This is @danyn_patel , and I can’t wait for you to hear his story, stay tuned!! @make.believe.achieve
At Consumer Energy Solutions we're more than just an energy company. We're all about energy efficiency. We are energy educators and go beyond the "state of the art" and provide "next generation technology" solutions. We're passionate about what we do so that's why we want our customers to know the facts vs. the myths of LED!
All supertech, all the time! @typerob_dc5 brought his engine in for a top end refresh and we performed a valve job, replaced the valve guides, springs, retainers and valve seals. Next up is cams, check clearances and a trip back to the dyno.
BEFORE & AFTER and most importantly DURING.
I'm working hard artistically and getting around to some physical organizing too.

All week I had hesitated posting images of pre-prepped work images. I didn't really understand why, but it somehow didn't seem right, particularly in my present context - a 3-week course on being present, interdependency (community) and the ecological impact of the anthropocene (time of humans) via art thinking/making.
After a week of slide lectures and articles on current philosophy, science, culture and art theory, it became somewhat obvious that conceptually speaking I would be coming from a place of memory and old habits rather than sharing and being in the moment re: organizing, creative thinking and eco-consciousness, so just going forward posting what inspires and transpires as it relates to organization and thoughtful living. ✨
tinted primer will humble the best of finishers. these walls are getting painted a dark green, so we decided to use a tinted primer to get rid of all of that white. after prime coat you can really see all the imperfections, so we touch up the blemishes, prime once more, and then we are ready for paint. #trghomeconcepts#quality#efficiency#value#haddonfield
almost time for the fun stuff. we like to use the highest quality poplar we can when fabricating/installing paint grade wainscoting. so we get it milled to our exact specs. we then drop it off onsite to acclimate and adjust to the home’s moisture content and relative humidity. safely placed on floor protection, and out of the way as best we can, so as not to disturb our customers livelihood or create a dangerous situation. it’s the little things, or are these big things? maybe the little things make the big things?!?! i’m confused. wainscoting, that’s right. it’s just about putting wood on the wall. #trghomeconcepts#quality#efficiency#value#haddonfield
one of the most difficult aspects of skimming over old plaster is not working around the old trim, but creating clean crisp corners. these old homes never have clean corners, and without taping it can be tough to straighten them out, but this after shot is night and day compared to what was here before. the shadows in the corners is the old paint bleeding through. i will grab some detail shots after primer tomorrow. these 100 year old walls and ceiling are looking awfully spry these days. #trghomeconcepts#quality#efficiency#value#haddonfield
this photo won’t get much “engagement.” it won’t get a lot of “likes.” that’s fine by me. this photo is indicative of the level of finish we desire on our projects. on this dining room remodel the custom wainscoting and trim will steal the show, but i’ll be drooling over the flat/smooth walls that we patched and skim-coated. sand, prime, patch plaster, tape coat, two skim coats, sand, prime, paint. no one said it would be fast or easy, just right. first coat done today. #trghomeconcepts#quality#efficiency#value
even though we knocked this backsplash out in a day, we didn’t rush through it. we still protected our site, folded our corners, ensured proper layout, siliconed our tile to the top, siliconed our inside corners, and caulked any tile to wood transitions (including under the cabinets), and cleaned up the site once we were done. #trghomeconcepts#quality#efficiency#value
banged out a quick marble backsplash today. we were able to get it installed, grouted, buffed, siliconed, and caulked. the hard edges were pretty unforgiving, but we got it all buttoned up in short order. we opted for rapid set thinset rather than mastic on this one. #trghomeconcepts#quality#efficiency#value
a quick walk through of our site at the end of the week. site protection is huge for us. we spend a lot of time and money protecting ourselves, our, customers, and our customers’ homes. i used to rush through this part of the job because it wasn’t “work.” i was so anxious to get going that i skimped on the details. we then had to spend time every day fixing loose tape, cleaning areas that weren’t protected, fixing tears, or repairing damaged areas. these days i do my best to devote a day to protection. i explain to my customers the time, energy, and money it takes up front, and we do not rush it. this saves us so much time on the back end, and each and every day when we clean our space. this walk through is after a week of some pretty gross demo and framing. this area is also the main hallway connecting every room on the first floor, so the homeowners are walking through this space daily. let me know your thoughts. i’d be curious to hear how you would approach this task? #trghomeconcepts#quality#efficiency#value
a few people were saying they use durabond for large plaster repairs. i agree that on some areas durabond works great and sets up quickly/hard, but you simply can’t patch areas like this with durabond as effectively as structolite. swipe right to see the scratch coat. this is one pass...zero sag, zero backing, zero tape, minimal shrinkage, lightweight, easy to mix, easy to clean, and CHEAP! no need to grind out plaster for a drywall patch, attempting to screw into lathe, racing to use up setting compound before it’s trash, or any of the common issues that come along with using spackle on large plaster patches. #trghomeconcepts#quality#efficiency#value
we demoed the tile in this foyer today. it had failed because the joists were sagging...a lot. we were unsure of what we would uncover, so the scope was not quite definitive. turns out they had between 3” and 5” of mortar under the tile. we are going to remove the 1x, sister on new joists, add a new subfloor and install a standard dry pack mortar bed to reduce the weight load and help with deflection. not what we planned on encountering, but we will sort it all out, and get it squared away. it’s one of the reasons i love this line of work. ps- i did all the work here. @stevekane1022 was priming away in the other room. #millennials#trghomeconcepts#quality#efficiency#value
these floors were all refinished not too long ago. we did our best to keep as little tape as possible on the actual hardwood floors. we cut our flooring protection tight to the quarteround and then taped onto the moulding itself. it will be far easier to repair damaged paint than damaged floor finish. this was a lot of work, but i feel better knowing our site is safe and clean. #trghomeconcepts#quality#efficiency#value
it’s funny, when i first went into business at roughly 23 years old i was extremely concerned about having visible tattoos. i would cover them, nervous that someone would judge me or choose to not hire me if they found out i were tattooed. i was no better than the people who DO judge others for having tattoos. as i’ve gotten older i have realized that visible tattoos don’t affect my business. carrying myself professionally, my word, delivering my best efforts, and treating people the way i want to be treated is far more important. tattoos make me who i am, but they don’t make me who you think i am. that being said, i wear shorts to work in the summer now. and people still hire me 😂. #trghomeconcepts#quality#efficiency#value
@stevekane1022 has been with me for over a year full time. he has been late twice, which he called to warn me about. he has left early once, in a snowstorm, and came back after his doctor’s appointment. he has never once called out unexpectedly, he works his *ss off, he invests in himself and his own tools, he respects me, our customers, and himself, he makes me laugh every single day, he is accountable, he makes me money, he tries his hardest and doesn’t take shortcuts, he is generous, he is smarter than anyone i know, he never complains, he makes my daughters smile, he makes my life easier, he carries himself in a professional manner, and the list goes on and on and on. he probably deserves two of these, but one will have to suffice for now. thanks for everything steve. not only are you a great employee, you are a great friend. #thegoat#trghomeconcepts#quality#efficiency#value
