On my way home from work yesterday, I was starving. I started thinking about my meal as soon as I drove away. I knew I didn’t have a full prepped and completed meal ready for me to heat up and devour, so ALL the food spots were catching my eye. 🤤
I thought “how nice would it be to stop and just pick up a slice of 🍕 and fries?”
Even though I LOVE pizza and fries (hello, I’m human 🙋🏽♀️), I still had a ton of work to do and knew pizza and fries would leave me wanting a nap 😴 afterwards that I simply did not have time for. (Don’t worry, pizza and fries, I’ll probably be consuming you in the near future).
So instead, I drove home and made turkey burgers from ground turkey I had in the refrigerator, heated up broccoli I had roasted a few days back, and made do with a simple side salad. It was delicious and fueled my body so I could continue with my to-do list for the rest of the day.
My point is, listen to your body, & know what your body needs. ✨ Sure, I would have enjoyed that pizza, but I knew after being in the hot sun all day, pizza was not going to energize me. So I’ll enjoy pizza another time!
It’s not about depriving my body from what it wants - trust me, I’m going enjoy pizza PLENTY of times, but in that moment, it’s not what my body needed. It’s about making choices that are going to fuel my body when I need it most.
As you might know, our upcoming gathering is at @stvincents in Antwerp. Currently we’re busy finding interesting, local suppliers for the finest ingredients for these two dinners, with great success so far. But we need your help! Do you have any suggestions for a bakery in or around Antwerp? And yes, of course we would love to work with the baked goods of Aldo, but unfortunately they will be closed because of vacation. Do you know another good bakery? We hope so! And please join us to finish everything till the last crumb! 🙌🏻

-Blend one packet of @traderjoes unsweetened organic açaí purée packet, 1/2 frozen banana, 2 dates and 2/3 cup of unsweetened almond milk
-Top with unsweetened coconut flakes, chia seeds, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, @purely_elizabeth granola and fruit of choice!
Grilling season is in FULL FORCE over here and man, I’ve got a good one for you here: Greek chicken kabobs with homemade tzatziki sauce! Holy yum 😋 and majorly healthy for you. Chicken, the most TO DIE FOR seasoning blend, veggies, and fat free Greek yogurt 💪🏼💪🏼 hello protein! And make extra because you’re going to want those leftovers for lunch. Maybe over some brown rice? 1.5 lb chicken cut into 1" pieces.
2 red bell peppers, cut into pieces
Red onion, quartered
1 zuchinni, sliced 1" thick
2 cloves garlic, minced
1.5 tbsp Italian seasoning
2.5 tsp salt, divided
2.5 tsp garlic powder, divided
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground nutmeg
5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, divided
½ cup red wine vinegar
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 cup greek yogurt
½ cucumber, grated and drained
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Optional: top with fresh mint
▪️in a small bowl combine 2 tsp salt, 1½ tbsp Italian seasoning, 2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp black pepper, ½ tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp onion powder, and 1 tsp paprika.
▪️Coat the chicken pieces generously with seasoning and place in a gallon-sized plastic bag.
▪️To the bag add 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, ½ cup red wine vinegar, 1 tbsp honey, and 1 tbsp dijon mustard. Mix well and cover contents evenly. Let marinate for 1 hour.
▪️Make the tzatziki: grate half a cucumber, and drain in a fine mesh strainer, padding with paper towels to remove all moisture. In a bowl, add one cup of greek yogurt, grated cucumber, ½ tsp garlic powder, 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 1 tbsp white vinegar, ½ tsp salt, and 1 tbsp of freshly chopped dill. Chill sauce covered in refrigerator until ready to serve.
▪️Alternate threading chicken and veggies onto metal or soaked wooden skewers.
▪️Bring your grill to high heat, and grill skewers 7-9 min turning once halfway, or until internal temperate of chicken reads 165 degrees.
▪️Serve kebobs with tzatziki sauce.

Procedure - 🌸Clean the bhindi n slit open into half keeping the head intact ( which I didn’t follow)🙈. .
🌸fry besan in a pan till light brown color. Mind it (don’t burn). .
🌸add in chilli powder, garam masala ,turmeric powder, dry mango powder, coriander powder n salt . .
🌸fill the okras with this masala. .
🌸Take a pan add oil in it and fry the bhindi’s in low medium heat till done .. .
Tada enjoy munching with roti or rice 🙋♀️
