Hi! Hello! I still exist, I promise! 😂 I took a break from this account because life is crazy and I started overthinking everything I was posting, but I'm back! So much has happened in the three months I've been gone (wow it's been that long? I'm slacking) 🤷‍♀️
For starters, I went on a study abroad trip in Ireland! Everything about it was amazing. Ireland is a place I've wanted to go since I was 12 so it was an experience I'll never forget 😊
I also got a new tattoo of a compass on my side and to me it means "wherever I go I'll find myself" or "I find pieces of myself wherever I go"
Also!!! My boyfriend and I went on a west coast trip! Which is also something I've wanted to do forever, but never got the chance to do til now. We started in Washington state and made our way through Oregon and California before we returned to our normal lives (ew 😂)
In about a week I'm going to Colorado though! So I'm excited about that.. Honestly this is by far the best summer I've had in a while and it makes me so happy :)

I love these takeaway containers by #rubbermaid 😍👌 They have taken my #mealprepgame to the next level! Here we have roasted chicken breast that lightly powdered with chilli powder, and placed on top of a bed of black lentil noodles. The side salad encompasses mixed baby greens, roasted red pepper, pine nuts (my fav), sliced onion, fresh parsley, radish sprouts, hemp oil, and fresh lemon juice. What can I say?! Pre/post workout breakfast: 1/2 English muffin with honey and a banana. Almost didn’t eat the other half of the banana because I didn’t want the calories but I decided I’d rather feel fueled even with an extra 50+ cals. WIN WIN CHICK DIN🐓💥. After working out I had a protein smoothie with plain Greek yogurt, chocolate protein powder, and almond milk: 33.5g protein!! Bow chicka POW WOW!!!! -Sarah🐺
BEST BREAKFAST EVER OMG. I think this is one of my prouder food concoction invention moments. Rice cake-hard boiled egg white-fage Greek 0% plain yogurt sandwich. THE BOMB. And so much protein!!! Completely guilt free!! The Greek yogurt sort of tastes like cream cheese which I used to love before it became a fear food. So while there were no fear foods, I am very happy with this. -Sarah💖

Pre-workout breakfast, and lunch! Actually felt more comfortable eating the English muffin with banana, Nutella, and honey because I knew this workout would be long and hard and I really hate feeling depleted. Lunch was a delicious plain Greek yogurt mix— 1.63 cup fage 0%, 1/8 choc pro pow, 1/2 banana, 12 raspberries, 1/2 small apple, 1/2 peach! I also snacked around a little bit which I’m trying to get out of the habit of. Does anyone else have this problem??? I just kind of dope around deciding what to eat and I can never decide so I just eat rice cakes and then feel guilty for not having a real meal and then it makes eating the actual meal really uncomfortable and less enjoyable. Maybe it’s just me lol but anyways, on a different note, my family is going out to eat for MEXICAN tonight. MEXICAN FOOD IS ONE OF MY WORST FEARS. CHIPS. GUACAMOLE. CHEESE. GREESE. Just a 20 year old girl who started my journey of fitness and health about 5 years ago. There has been ups and there have been far too many downs . I lost a little over 30 pounds. I neee i wasnt happy nor healthy anymore. I was suffering from an eating disorder . i knew i had to change and that I had to get my life back . Since then i have  been on an insane journey, I have gained weight  and relapsed t. I have maintained  my weight for the past 3 years in a quasi recovery state and recently relapsed in the beginning of 2018. I have officially committed fully to true recovery. Its time to get my life back 💕💕

Forgot to post dinner last night but woah woah woah. Still ~digesting~ what happened (HEHEHE) okay anyways. At a friends house and her mom prepared us dinner: all I knew beforehand was that it involved cauliflower pizza, which really sounded yummy and also somewhat guilt free because of the cauliflower base, and I watched her make it and she only added a little cheese. I had two slices of that (it was amazing!) I was only planning on having one slice but they were all eating multiple so I took another. Pictured is a slice of the pie they made traditionally—that’s right, real dough! REAL CHEESE PIZZA! Was not planning on eating this but it was sort of socially obligatory that I take one, and, I know it’d be a struggle guilt-wise, but I went for it and ate the whole thing. I can’t remember the last time I ate pizza and this was so worth it. Guilt is lingering, but I am very happy I got through this and actually ENJOYED it. Recovery is worth it y’all!! Without it I wouldn’t have been able to eat scrumptious, kick-butt homemade pizza with awesome friends and family. -Sarah🎀

Lunch today was chick fil a: 12 count grilled nuggets AND a market salad with 7/8 of a light Italian dressing packet. I’ve never gotten more than one entree at any fast food place in a while and this was so satisfying!! I was starving before but this was very filling and I don’t feel too guilty. Used yellow mustard for the grilled nuggets but tbh they’re so good they don’t even need any sauce. YAY!!! -Sarah☀️🌼

So my dad got me a bagel from Au Bon Pain. This was surely a fear food. Also the fact that this wasn’t multigrain or wheat made it worse, PLUS there was cream cheese on it. I knew I need to challenge myself through trying fear foods. My dad let me eat it very slowly and he spread the cream cheese and told me he was making sure he wasn’t putting on too much as to overwhelm me, but he definitely had to use at least two tablespoons on this sucker. To be honest, though, I am happy about this because the bagel was very delicious and I haven’t had one in so long and part of me felt a little liberated eating this as I used to eat sesame seed bagels all the time as a kid. I also used to love cream cheese. It brought back memories to when my sister and dad and I would go to our favorite bagel shop on vacation and we would all order bagels or bagel sandwiches and I used to get sausage, egg and cheese on sesame and I loved every bite. That was back in seventh grade when I didn’t even run or workout at all, yet I seemed to have no problem finishing an entire bagel sandwich. Now, whenever we go to this same bagel shop, I only get coffee and maybe the smallest kale salad they have, only because my parents would force me. I want to be able to go back to eating foods like that bagel sandwich with the rest of my family without freaking out. Sorry for a long rant but in a way, this nostalgic bagel meal feels like a motivation to get past the prison of ED. I’m doing this for my family, memories I hope we will be able to share together in the future, and I am doing this for ME. I am not going to starve myself the rest of the day. I ate the bagel, the WHOLE bagel, and now I feel fueled and we move on. This is hard but I need to do it. -Sarah🌻

Dinner!!!! THis was SOOO GOOD!!! It’s an egg white scramble with broccoli, turkey, and asparagus. Low calorie, yet such a high protein content. I have been more and more comfortable eating this and I’m very happy about it. My dad made this for me and I hope I can get better at making them myself. We call it “The Mega Bowl” 😂😂😂 my dad has been very validating and helpful lately. I talked to him about how I felt after he made be that huuuuuuge English muffin Nutella honey banana breakfast the other morning and told him I was feeling so overwhelmed by so many fear foods all at once. The rest of that day I was so freaked out I didn’t eat as much as I know I should have. So we talked for a bit and we decided that while I need to approach fear foods, it’s okay if we ease into it a bit more so I’m not scared off by them. I think this is the right approach because sabotaging me with fear foods like honey and nutella in ONE MEAL is too much and makes me more scared to eat them all together. So step by step, I am going to master fear foods. We agreed that he would tell me in advance when he’s making a meal with one of my fear foods and as long as it takes for me to eat it, I have to finish. It will be challenging but I’m feeling optimistic. 🤞🙏Have a great night everyone!!!!! ☀️Sarah☀️
