Time for a cart highlight 🎉 COCONUT AMINOS. Lots of you ask what they are, why they’re in my cart, and what the heck I do with them; this is your post. Coconut aminos, are a sauce derived from coconut sap and have a light touch of sweet mixes salty. The taste resembles soy sauce, yet it tends to have ~ 500-600 mg less sodium per serving (this adds up quickly, especially since a serving is 1 TBSP, which no one ever uses) compared to most soy sauces. I probably wouldn’t have tried it if it wasn’t for having a soy intolerance (i was craving Asian inspired recipes using soy sauce and was in search for an alternative), but i recommend it to everyone because it rocks. ————————————————————-
It’s a 1:1 sub for soy sauce, and it’s even 🚒 approved. Lately I’ve been loving making a peanut or almond butter sauce to use in stir fry or as a dipping sauce: almond or peanut butter (2 tbsp), coconut aminos (1/3 cup), garlic clove, ginger, salt, pepper, cayenne, and a touch of honey (1 tsp) if desired, made on stovetop. HOW DO YOU COCONUT AMINO? Share with us so we can create a recipe thread and get creative...
#healthyeating is a big part of any lifestyle change. Exercise is great! I love it! Am I always motivated to do it? No, but I make sure I do it and when I do I never regret it. However, exercise is not all I do. You need proper nutrition to fuel your body. Taking care of your body is a lifetime investment. No matter what you do in life or where you go your body will always be present. Enrich your life, #eatwelllivewell#healthyliving#goodfood#foodlover#dietiskey#loveyourself

Every Sunday we will be posting the band of the week, this will be the band inspiring us during the week. If you have any suggestions please write on the comments !! The suggestion with more likes will be here next week! Week 25: Calle 13.
First cherry tomatoes this season!!! I brought this plant back from the dead, seriously. It was so dried up with dark brown/black branches, no leaves & dry soil...I was worried about it. I decided to transplant into a new tomato box (I found a cute one from @sloatgardens) and new wire growing frame. I added new soil and moved to a location with tons of direct sunlight! Over the last few months, I’ve been really careful about over watering (apparently, tomatoes do not like a lot of water). I already learned my lesson by almost over watering earlier this Spring. If the plant sits in too much water, the roots will begin to decay and it cause mold and a ton of other issues! Well, this baby is back on track after some TLC! Juicy bursts of summer tomatoes, YUM! 🍅
#snacktime ya’ll!! I am filling up on fantastic fruits!! .
Watermelon is amazing right now, so sweet and hydrating. Watermelon contains vitamins A, B5 and C, copper and potassium. Watermelon lowers blood pressure and reduces insulin resistance. .
Blackberries are high in vitamins C and K, manganese and fiber. They improve brain function, reduce inflammation and boost immunity. .
Ch ch ch chia.... these tiny little seeds (1tsp) offers up 11g of fiber and 4g of protein. They are loaded with antioxidants, as well as being high in Omega 3 fatty acids.
What a glorious day it’s been in London today ☀️ we’ve eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner alfresco 🍴tonight was ribeye steak on the bbq with roasted baby potatoes, mixed salad and a tomato and mozzarella carprese using my new hand painted dish from Ravello ♡ 🍅 ♡ the salad bowl is a favourite from @anthropologie ... ...
I’m now horizontal sweating like a pig on the sofa with the fan on full blast!! 😅
Another find! While I was out birthday shopping for my guy (his birthday is tomorrow😊) I came across THIS! ...and on clearance too! I’ve been searching for a food/diet journal like this for a while. Unfortunately, it only has enough pages for about a month, but it’s a good start to reestablishing healthier eating habits😉 I’m excited and ready to get back to better eating! #positivevibes#runnerfuel#eathealthy#eatwelllivewell#fitnessmotivation

Made my own [messy] peanut butter cups last week!! • So, originally I was going to follow a recipe for these but I didn't, so I don't have exact measurements!! I melted dark chocolate chips using the double boiler method and added 2 tbs of coconut oil so it would get all smooth and creamy! I also mixed up about 4-5 tbs of @smuckersbrand all natural peanut butter with 1 tbs of coconut oil! I have silicone cupcake molds (these make it a lottt easier to pop them out when they set!) and I lined them with some of the dark chocolate, layered in the peanut butter and then put more chocolate on top! (Added unsweetened coconut flakes to some for my mom) When I finished I put them in the freezer to set! • these were actually super fun to make besides me not melting enough chocolate originally which is why they turned out messy and why I probably should have just followed the recipe 😬 I don't really eat chocolate too much but I thought these would be a nice treat when I do want some!
