Throwback to this perf breakfast at the beach!! (I love u @wawa) • there is nothing better than walking to wawa with my dad to get a coffee and bagel when I'm at the beach!! I've done that with him since I was a little kid since we always seem to be near a wawa in jersey - lucky us!!! Haven't had wawa coffee in a few days and I miss it 😪
💗 lazy Saturday morning with chocolate oatmeal in bed. Ah pure bliss for 10 minutes in a quiet house 🙏🏼 How long do you sit in stillness when your child isn’t around until you start to fold laundry, tidy up, do dishes, handle all of the paperwork that has been lying around for the week, and so on?!? I give myself 10 minutes as soon as the garage closes, then I just can’t sit still with so much to do 😱 Happy Saturday everyone 🌸 🍫 Find the recipe in the free Warming Breakfasts ebook on the blog 👉🏼 www.martinazand.com ☝🏼 link in profile 🍫
It’s oddly pleasing to me that the salmon in my bowl matches my toenails. 💅 Leftovers bowl coming in hot with my salmon and avocado sauce from yesterday, some mushrooms and onions that have been sitting in my fridge all week, and #zoodles 😋#keto#paleo#zoodlesnotnoodles#oodlesofzoodles
hi i’m back! w new content - finally! yay! i was so happy when i woke up this morning and had plenty of time to make, style, & photograph my food haha. like honestly this brings me too much joy but i guess i’d rather be doing something i love than something i don’t🙃
here we have: vanilla @siggisdairy (tryna get my stomach used to more dairy again bc it’s hard to find kite hill products here rip) mixed with a scoop of @vitalproteins collagen peptides + 🍓🍓s + a sprinkle of @navitasorganics cacao nibs, bee pollen, & og @purely_elizabeth granola + drizzle of @philosophielove berrybee honey (literally the only honey i like the taste of + has tons of vitamin c bc i’m sick af) & @thefreshmarket fresh ground almond butter (this stuff isn’t oily & hard to drizzle so i microwaved it for ~30 second & mixed it with some water to make it thin & runny. that way i’m able to drizzle it yay!) happy saturday!!💕🤑
how do you like your oats? runny or thick? 😊
i like mine suuuper runny which i’m realizing doesn’t look the best on camera 😂
this morning I tried something new and put a huge dollop of coconut yogurt on my oats and it was the greatest decision 🤤
also topped with bananas, blueberries, strawberries, chopped up dates, and cinnamon 🍌
Gooood mornin friends! I woke up this morning and it was kinda gloomy and I was just feelin fall vibes...so of course a loaded oatmeal bowl was in order. 🤷🏼♀️
•1/2 c oatmeal
•1/2 c Frozen riced cauliflower
•1/2 c grated zucchini
•1 scoop @furtherfood collagen peptides
~toppings: 1/3 banana, @bassenuts toasted pumpkin seeds, goji berries, @bobsredmill coconut flakes, cacao nibs, bee pollen, hemp seeds, & a spoonful of drippy almond butter!
* If adding veggies to your oats seems kinda crazy...start with just zucchini...the cauliflower had a little bit of a stronger taste..but it was nothing that couldn’t be covered up with some spices & alllll the toppings!
Almonds contain lots of healthy fats, fiber, protein, magnesium and vitamin E, which makes them a great snacking choice for many. What do you like to have handy for when you need a little mid-day pick-me-up?
🍅☀️I’m finally posting this easy, popular summer salad! Guests will love it & it’s a snap to put together! Plus full of summer goodness😋 * 2 pints mixed small or cherry tomatoes
* Seeds from one pomegranate (I use the seeds from Trader Joe’s)
* Yellow bell pepper, chopped
* 1/2 small red onion, chopped
* 1/3 cup fresh basil, julienned * 1/3 cup fresh mint, julienned * Feta cheese
Mix one part fresh lemon juice to two parts olive oil. Add 1 tsp oregano, salt and pepper to taste. Toss all ingredients together with the dressing and top with cheese. Enjoy! #summersalad#tomatoes 🍅 #healthyvibes
Summervibes in a lunch bowl☀️🌴
🤓Did you know that Sockeye salomon is probably one of the best sources of omega-3 fatty acids which is important to balance overconsumption of omega-6 fatty acids and help with inflammation?
It is also high in magnesium, selenium, zinc and vitamin B.
🥗Today’s refreshing lunch bowl consisted of roasted pumpkin, mixed green leaves, poached salmon and apple. As a dressing I mixed olive oil, lime juice, lemon peel and basil & lemon apple cider vinegar.
Perfect for such a hot summer day!
What meals do you enjoy most on hot summer days?☺️ .
PS: stay tuned for a delicious paleo & vegan dessert recipe coming tomorrow!!!

are you a big brunch fan?? one of my favorite brunch spots in columbus is @katalinascafe! their *southern brown betty biscuit balls* are crazy delish! 🤤 their nutella stuffed pancake balls are always a favorite for a splurge, but sometimes there a bit too expensive for that #collegegirlbudget 👎🏻 a couple weeks ago i made some at home for josh & i, and then again for my roomies to celebrate our last anatomy exam! they seemed to be a hit, so i tested out a new batch! 🙌🏻 this time, i made one of my favorite flavor combos into a yummy, healthier version of stuffed pancake balls! *lemon pancake balls stuffed with berry jam* - SWOON!🍋 the bright lemony flavors, mixed with the sweet, juicy bluebs & raspberries have me in a tasty food coma! i personally LOVE them, but you’ll have to try them out for yourself (meaning that you MUST try them out)! the recipe is so simple! you can find it in my stories! 😋 what’s your favorite breakfast food?? ✨
I didn't grow #courgettes this year, but I've found that the ones I have bought over the summer have been beautifully sweet and tender. Today I'm making the most of this kind of Cinderella summer vegetable by slicing them thinly and dousing in lemon, exceptional olive oil (shout out to @morocco.gold), local honey, toasted pine nuts, and some fennel pollen from my garden. And a crunchy bit of @maldonsalt1882. I'm thinking this would be fantastic with steamed or grilled sea bass, or similar. But I'm just going to demolish it with some homemade sourdough bread (finally got the hang of it - yay!). Maybe some goat's cheese too. Happy days. 😋 🍽️ UPDATE: for something so ridiculously simple it's astonishingly tasty. If you make it let it marinate for at least 15 minutes to let the flavours mingle. I feel another plateful in my not-too-distant future. PS the two forks aren't telling the true story 😉😉😉
I talk a lot about these products, because they've changed my health SO significantly. They've helped me think bigger, look at a broader picture of my health. This weekend they are ON SALE!! Eeeeks, I'm cheap😄😄 which is exactly why I initially "joined" as an ambassador. To save some 💰💰So I always love me a good sale!!
Being a new mom last year with a son who was constantly battling runny noses and fevers, I wanted a better solution for him than to constantly have OTC products on standby. Sure, I was helping relieve his symptoms, but I wasn’t addressing the root of the problem. He was miserable, we were all tired, and none of us slept more than five hours at a time (if that) in the six months that he had been home with us.
Having used essential oils myself— peppermint for nausea and lavender for sleep— I knew they were effective but I hadn’t considered how they might help our son and his immune system, so I did a TON of research. Extensive research. Late, light nights in front of the computer and with books by experts I trusted, I learned that essential oils are not only safe (when they are used safely), but also benefit our body systems down to the cellular level within a matter of minutes. I also learned what the effects were on our body, skin, and overall health of the products I was using that I thought were “natural”, “organic”, and “safe.” I wanted a better solution for our family.
Fast forward to one year later, almost a year from when I grabbed my first starter kit, and the positive impact that kicking out toxins in our home has done to our health and well-being is beyond what I could have thought would have been jump-started by a box of eleven oils and a diffuser. We sleep —so well. We feel good, we notice changes in our emotions, and best of all, our immune systems have been supported so we are spending more time doing the things we love, and less time missing work or school.

Happy weekend 🤗♥️!
slow + sleepy saturday mornings call for delicious chaga elixirs best sipped in bed 💜
some of the reasons i love incorporating this mushroom daily
+ incredibly rich in antioxidants
+ stimulates and boosts the immune system
+ potent anti-viral
+ helps reduce inflammation
i like to buy chaga powders that have been dual-extracted so that both the water soluble and fat soluble compounds are bioavailable 👍🏻🍄☺️
Enjoying my cup of beauty coffee this am ☕️ Upgrade your joe with superfoods to promote healthy skin and overall less inflammation with key stars chaga and turmeric
Adding in as many anti-inflammatory foods to your diet will support your immune and nervous system. Most of us are chronically inflamed from diet and stress 🤨
Alkaline foods (acidity leads to inflammation) in particular help support healthy brain function and overall better moods 😎
I used @foursigmatic mushroom coffee with, a heavy dose of turmeric and a touch of honey and coconut milk mmmhmmmm 😋
Nothing like starting the weekend off going out to breakfast! 🤗 Got the vegetarian southwest special, couldn’t pass on the only breakfast combo with sweet potatoes 😂👉🏻sweet potato hash w/ black beans, corn, pepper, and onions topped with two poached eggs and an avocado cream sauce on the side! ☕️🥚🍠🥑🌽
I love trying different things when I go out to breakfast! This was such a good combo and would be easy to make at home!!! Hope everyone has a good start to their weekend!
Well hello beautiful 😍 Does anyone else love decorating their bowls as much as they do eating them? 😂 I have way too much fun doing it🤷🏻♀️
Vegas is giving me small signs of fall and I’m just about ready to turn into a full Steve-O-Lantern any minute now 🎃🍁 I’ll miss the cold smoothie bowls and iced matchas, but I’m ready for this hot and humid summer to see its way out the door 👋🏼
Until then, I’ll keep the bright and summer-y breakfasts coming for you guys 🍒🍒🍒

Happy Friday! • I have had a busy two days between moving into my house in Philly and coming home to get things I still need, I didn’t have much time to cook!! But after I finished my errands this morning, I came home and made zucchini chips! Super easy to make —> slice zucchini into small slices (I use mandolin bc it’s consistent with size), beat 1 egg in a bowl and dip the zucchini in that, and then dip that into bread crumbs of your choice - I used GF bread crumbs and added Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese to mine! Put them on a baking sheet and bake them at 350 for 20 minutes and flip them halfway through! I broil mine on low for 2 minutes because I like them to be super crisp 😇
The best type of breakfast back at home after a blissful run in the countryside🌾🏃🙏🏻spending my weeks in an urban landscape definitely makes the countryside seems 100x more magical and special when I come back to it☺️
