Chicken and Bacon Rotini-
I, for the first time in about two months, was able to have Tony go with me to the grocery store. This really about doubles the amount of time it takes me to get shopping done, and typically results in buying 2.5 lbs of bacon. I am always trying to find new ways to sneak veggies into our meals and I would say last night was a win. I used Free to Eat Rotini. This “pastas” ingredients are: red lentils, beets, carrots, and sweet potato. Additionally I added kale and squash in with the chicken and bacon. I think I was actually able to serve more veggies than meat 🤭
4 slices bacon (we used applewood smoked)
2 chicken breasts cubed
1/2 cup white wine
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic salt
1 yellow squash
2 green onions
2 cups rough chopped kale
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 box Free to Eat - Superfood Purple
Heat large nonstick pan on medium heat. Cut both bacon and chicken into small cubes. Add to pan with olive oil. Cook for about 5 minutes. While cooking, slice squash and chop green onion and kale then add to all to pan with white wine and garlic salt. Stir to mix, cover, and cook for about 12 minutes or until squash is tender. Boil pasta while cooking. Add cream and cheese to meat and veggies and stir until thickened. Drain and rinse noodles, combine and serve!

Turnaround Tuesday for the 2017 Joint Winner...
Our forays into #Suffolk continued this month, with another visit to glorious #Woodbridge . To visit non other than #thetable in Quay Street, our joint winner of last year. The courtyard continues even in the winter months to be pretty and quaint, certainly a place for a warm summers evening.
Soon after arriving we were seated, a delightful cosie corner, we ordered 3 Ghost Ship ales #adnams
I ordered Pork Hash, red onion + thyme with a poached egg.
Frank ordered , Warmed roasted beetroot salad, goats cheese & toasted walnut salad.
And Chris Swedish meatballs.
For mains it was Slow roast pork belly, mash, veg and cider jus.
Turmeric @ Chilli chicken curry , basmati rice and coriander chutney.
Cod fillet, vegetable tagine, citrus couscous , yogurt and flaked almonds.
For Pudding, Frank decided to top up his calories with apple and sultana crumble, vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce, and yes you guessed it two delectable cheese boards.
All washed down with a fine bottle of #Tempranillo
The food remains incredible, presentation, tastes and amazing value.
The staff remain amazingly friendly and delightful and what a wonderfully lovely atmosphere, to sit and enjoy dinner.
Most highly recommended .

These are my kinda meals for #gainz and even FAT loss 🖤 .
Most people just aren't eating enough for their wants and needs. They sit there and read every nutritional label, count all sorts of numbers, and stress over what they eat. I promise if you create a stressful environment when it comes to food, it will mentally weigh you down and you will struggle. It's not healthy. It can create eating issues as well. .
Just stop! Are you going to do that the rest of your life? Sounds miserable.
If you are eating CLEAN and natural foods that had a life and aren't processed then honestly you dont need to pick apart the labels. You can eat a good amount, especially if you're in the gym and trying to make those gains. .
Please understand that if you are not eating enough of the right foods then you will lack in fuel, struggle with losing body fat, and building muscles (and keeping lean body mass). Stop over analyzing every bite you take with clean foods. You should be doing that with the bullshit cakes and cookies, not with your REAL foods like veggies, fruits, proteins ect. .
Learn balance, learn to eye portions, learn the body burns fuel just to keep the heart pumping, much less when you are lifting weights or in the gym. Learn that the more muscle you put on the more cals you burn. Learn that calories are energy, are you getting enough? Learn that there are such things as EMPTY CALS as well, and to stay away from those. .
#EatUp & Enjoy.
