It is perfect!! A bit spicy and curried, tangy from the lime and lemon zest and sweetness from the shrimp! The rice noodles makes extra chewy and hearty.
Is it me or am I really into Asian inspired dishes lately? Next up pumpkin curry!

This brilliant pasta queen (@allisonfasano) studied in Italy... you can trust she knows what’s she’s doing. I myself am proud to say I took a pasta-making class by chef Allison in the past! I highly recommend you pay Harley’s a visit and order this.

Had to pick carbs, went with the sweet potato fries instead of the bun and only had a few (how did this happen now?), while he was shamelessly bathing his fries in mac’n cheese sauce😱 Yes, he had mine too #noleftovers #ketostruggles

I know I am the only person standing in my way. I am already seeing my face slim down a little, and I am comfortably able to wear 1-2 sizes smaller in both tops and pants.

Remembering these small achievements is the key to my own personal success.

Of my 12 weeks of motherhood, the last 2 have been among the hardest! .

Business has been crazy busy and with having to cover staff on holiday as well, I have worked long days (a few 12 hour days)  and therefore had to be away from my baby during the day! I am still doing night feeds to ensure time with him and every evening feed and bathtime has been precious! .

I am not afraid to say that there have been times in my deli kitchen during this time where I have felt like crying because all I have wanted is to get home to my baba, yet it has felt like the day would never end! Everytime I felt like I completed something, another thing would come up. .

While it has been tough, it has also been a massive learning curve! I have been trying so hard to balance business and baby, but I now realise the importance of focusing time on them separately in order to be more productive at work, but most importantly to enjoy every second with my son without feeling like I need to be working! .

So today, I enjoyed every second with him having a lovely walk along the Thames and in Richmond Park! .

Having a baby and running a business is hard. I am still learning how to manage it all ... but every element so far has been rewarding! .

I can't wait to get back to abit more normality next week but also implementing better ways of working and better time spent with my baby boy! .

For all mothers going through the same... keep going! It does all slot into place in the end 💕👶🏻 .

When the New Year came around I decided to “try again” with my Beachbody journey as a coach. But first I wanted to work on myself and get myself better inside and out ▪️ .

After two kids a lot changed, but not only on the outside and what everyone saw, it was also on the inside and how I felt. It wasn’t that I didn’t “like” the way my body looked, it was more so even though I truly had everything I wanted and more in my life, something was still missing. ▪️ .
I decided to really find that missing piece and do whatever I could to find it. It was giving myself some me time. Some time that I did not have to be his wife or their mommy. I was able to release stress from a long day or just vent to myself. It was just a time that I could do no wrong.▪️ .
But at the same time it was helping others that I just absolutely love doing. Seeing someone smile because they have accomplished something all by themselves, is just so special to me. Knowing that even the smallest words I just might have made someone’s day. That right there was that missing piece to my life that I am forever thankful I am able to do. ▪️

When it comes down to nutrition and proper eating, the excuse I most often get from clients is “I don’t have enough time...,” well, I am just going to quote Charles Buxton: “You will never ‘find’ time for anything. If you want time you must make it.” We all have the same amount of time in a day-everyone gets the same 24hrs. How you distribute them and what you prioritize, solely depends on you. Now, I get it, most of my clients are top executives, with many responsibilities on their plate. Aside from work, they also have families, hobbies and all of these pieces require time. That is why I also greatly appreciate the time and commitment they make every time they come to train with me. They show me how deeply they care about improving their physical health, despite all the other pieces they juggle. And although training helps them feel better, more energized, fit and helps them reach their weight goals, there is a piece that still needs attention and improvement: Nutrition (and it is a big piece of the puzzle to achieving optimal health and wellness). Thats why I love this image and is a great example for all busy bees, that no matter how little time you may have for food prep, there are still many options that take only few minutes and these few minutes will make the greatest difference for your body and health. And on days when you really dont have chance to prepare anything, running late for a meeting or to the airport to catch a flight...then you can turn to one of the many great healthy food places, which are numerous around NYC. Take a moment to see what is in your area and make those your go to spots, when running out of time. But please dont make time as an excuse, because you dont want health to be your excuse for not being able to attend your next important meeting, scoring a big deal or spend time with your precious family and friends. Life is short, prioritize your time and invest it (even if a little) into the things that really matter. .

My 10k race is only 23 days from now and I feel very behind in training! Logged 4 miles this morning and it hurt. My legs felt like cement and around mile 3 I got a stomach ache. My goal for the race is to finish in under 68 minutes so my pace is on track HOWEVER I could not have gone another 2.2 miles this morning at that pace.

Ginger Tzatziki Chicken Wraps 🙌 (Modified from Shared Food's Recipe) 
For the Chicken Marinade:
 2 lbs Chicken Breasts, diced
 1/4 C Soy Sauce
 2 t Ginger Powder
 4 t Olive Oil
 1/4 t Pepper 
For the Tzatziki Sauce:
 1/4 C Cucmbers, finely diced
 1 Clove Garlic, minced
 1 t Dill, dried
 1/4 t Salt
 1/4 t Pepper
 ½ C Plain Greek Yogurt, low-fat For the Wraps:
 7 oz Whole Romaine Lettuce Leaves
 7 oz Cucumbers, sliced 
Directions:
Mix marinade ingredients in a bowl or zip lock bag and allow chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Mix Tzatziki Sauce ingredients in a bowl and allow flavors to marry together for an hour or two. Assemble chicken on kabob sticks and grill or bake/cook. Place several cucumber slices in lettuce boats followed by chicken and top with Tzatziki sauce. 
Makes 4 Servings - Per Serving: 1 Leaner, 2 Vegetables, 3 Condiments, 1 Fat

I always new something wasn’t right with my tummy after having the twins, Obviously the noticeable (stretch marks, loose skin, c.section scar the dreaded pooch) but afterwards a good year later I still had an extremely protruding belly button, it had become very large (due to my abdominal separation) my tummy was an odd shape like a square & came out from under my ribs & it ached a lot. I had seen a dr previously who said it may need operating on, the thought scared me. My lovely mum read an article in the paper about a lady having issues with her tummy which scarily were so similar to mine! It explained she followed a program to help heal it, showing each stage of its change. Even though she wasn’t toned her tummy was significantly smaller! In the article, it explained the program she followed & how it had healed her (DR) Diastasis Recti!! Oh & pelvic floor but hasten to add this was still in tack for me! 😂
I had no idea what a DR was but the more I read I knew this was me. Suffering with back pain, tummy bloat especially evenings, the feeling of internal pressure (everything pushing downwards), venerability around my tummy area & not enough sleep or stress seemed to make it worse!
Even though I was doing a lot of walking at the time & I was strong from that, my core certainly wasn’t. 
I was excited by the thought of this program, I committed 12 weeks to it, as I wanted to try & heal myself without surgery. The thing I lacked now, even though I was strong on the inside, I lacked definition & this is what I wanted. Now i was healed I could push myself to the next level. That is where I am now on my next journey with a new program I’m doing. I’m more defined & now I see Abs & Obliques, & my gap is completely closed, which I’m ecstatic about. If your lacking motivation or really thinking your body will never return, it will, so don’t feel discouraged. Your body did amazing things to grow your baby, but you can’t expect it to listen if your not treating it right!!
I always new something wasn’t right with my tummy after having the twins, Obviously the noticeable (stretch marks, loose skin, c.section scar the dreaded pooch) but afterwards a good year later I still had an extremely protruding belly button, it had become very large (due to my abdominal separation) my tummy was an odd shape like a square & came out from under my ribs & it ached a lot. I had seen a dr previously who said it may need operating on, the thought scared me. My lovely mum read an article in the paper about a lady having issues with her tummy which scarily were so similar to mine! It explained she followed a program to help heal it, showing each stage of its change. Even though she wasn’t toned her tummy was significantly smaller! In the article, it explained the program she followed & how it had healed her (DR) Diastasis Recti!! Oh & pelvic floor but hasten to add this was still in tack for me! 😂 I had no idea what a DR was but the more I read I knew this was me. Suffering with back pain, tummy bloat especially evenings, the feeling of internal pressure (everything pushing downwards), venerability around my tummy area & not enough sleep or stress seemed to make it worse! Even though I was doing a lot of walking at the time & I was strong from that, my core certainly wasn’t. I was excited by the thought of this program, I committed 12 weeks to it, as I wanted to try & heal myself without surgery. Spicy chickpea and lemon avocado toasts 🥑

I am a big fan of all things chickpeas and avocado but I never thought of combining these two together until now. I love plain old avocado on bread but I wanted something more substantial and I hit the food combo jackpot! 🎰

Grab a piece of bread 🍞 or two or 3 (who am i to judge?) 🤣 Smear avocado all over it, (I added lemon juice to mine), drain a can of chickpeas @edgellau & pan fry them with a little EVOO, garlic powder and paprika until they brown a little. Then place on top! Add sesame seeds, chilli flakes (to wake up your taste buds ofcourse) and some coriander & you're winning! 🏁
