В Новостях говорят, что температура на 6 градусов выше нормы, и так будет до конца недели.

Я во все глаза смотрю на эту дивную осень, вдыхаю её полной грудью. Радуюсь каждому дню.
Со мной такое впервые.
Впервые за всю мою жизнь ничто не отвлекает меня от неё.
Какая же она красивая!
Гулять, фотографировать, любоваться. Теряться в днях, смутно припоминать какое сегодня число. Наслаждаться вот этим чудесным подарком природы.
Друзья мои, то, что я сейчас чувствую – невыразимо!

È una di quelle frasi in cui crediamo molto, e sentirla dire da @paolamaugeri durante la prima del suo spettacolo “Rock e Resilienza” è stato un colpo al cuore.
Sopratutto da quando abbiamo iniziato a cucinare per voi, nelle vostre case e durante i nostri #supperclub, non c’è per noi affermazione più vera.
Anzi, potremmo dire che che proprio il cibo, il sedersi a tavola insieme è ormai diventata la nostra vera e propria arte dell’incontro 🍽👩🏻‍🍳💯 Siamo completamente innamorate di questa vita e delle persone che incontriamo. Come si può non esserlo, quando ci si rende conto che tutto ciò che conta è riuscire di nuovo a sentire? Una malattia porta a grandi cambiamenti, sta a noi riuscire a coglierli e trasformarli in qualcosa di buono, anzi se possibile di meraviglioso. 
Come ha detto Paola, tutti meritiamo di vivere una vita all’altezza dei nostri sogni. Noi ci stiamo impegnando per farlo, tantissimo. E il nostro sogno è proprio quello di rendere - nel nostro piccolo - il mondo un posto migliore. Il modo che abbiamo scelto è quello di tornare alle origini, ad una cucina sana, naturale, preparata con amore. Niente di tutto ciò che proponiamo è invaso dalla fretta, tutto il cibo viene benedetto con mantra e buone vibrazioni. Questo cibo semplicemente rappresenta tutta la cura e l’attenzione che Francesca ha posto verso se stessa, durante il periodo delle cure.

Mmm, een rondje door de koelkast met restjes kan ook een goed maaltje opleveren. Er lag nog zelfgemaakte tzatziki (zie recept tzatziki = 5 dagen te bewaren in de koelkast) en een half pak pitabroodjes. Dit aangevuld met stukjes komkommer en tomaat, echte feta en een vega XL jalapeño burger van @garden_gourmet_nl. Burger belegd met een plakje cheddar, gebakken uienringen en plakjes jalapeño. Voor het eerst deze burger geprobeerd en deze houden we erin. Er zit een klein beetje pit in, maar niet te. Prima voor een dagje vega. Ook vriendlief -een echte burgerliefhebber- vond het een heerlijke burger.

Cucumber juice! Cucumber juice helps to hydrate our cells while also nourishing our liver, adrenal glands and kidneys. The enzymes and coenzymes in cucumber, and, celery juice, aid in our digestion process. They flush the intestines of toxic acids while helping on a cellular level to increase gut health. Cucumbers help our body’s protein digestion process so we can better absorb vitamins and minerals. At a recent visit with my osteopath, she advised that I cut out sugar, gluten, and dairy and start to clean and heal my gut. 500ml of freshly blended then strained celery or cucumber juice is how I’m starting to tackle this. This Fall Inspired Honeyed Apple and Blue Cheese Salad is the ultimate accompaniment to any roast. Sweet and Salty with flavors of cranberries & honey 🍯 roasted nuts 🥜🌰 blue cheese 🧀 and sweet, tart apples too 🍎🍎 Actually, it makes for a perfect lunch just as is ❤️❤️ This vinaigrette recipe made loads extra. I set it aside in the fridge and look forward to adding it to many more salads 😍 Recipe below 👇🏻 For the Dressing 
1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 cup Juiced Apples
1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar 
1/8 cup Blossom Honey

Ingredients
2 Large Red Apples
Large Bowl Rucola and Baby Spinach
1 cup mixed nuts - Almond, Pecan & Pine nuts 
1/4 cup Dried Cranberries
100g @bergader_privatkaeserei Piccante
Juice of 1 Lemon

Method 
1. Combine all dressing ingredients in a mason jar. Shake well.
2. Wash apples throughly. Cut into quarters, removing the seeds. Slice thinly. Coat with lemon juice to prevent browning. 
3. In a pan add 1 tsp butter. When melted add nuts and stir until  brown. This will only take a few minutes. Transfer to a paper towel to dry.
4. In a large bowl layer greens, apples, nuts, cranberries and crumbled blue cheese.
5. Drizzle with dressing and serve immediately.

Yesterday morning’s @rvafitfoodie inspired smoothie, featuring homemade almond milk to start the week off right 😻 I’ve been doing a TON of cooking and baking the last few days and, while it’s time consuming and i haven’t always felt up to it, I have no regrets. Just like with exercise, I always prioritize cooking/food prep/etc regardless of how I’m feeling because it always helps me feel better in the long run and often once I start I get into it. SO, Monday morning, I used my new @elliesbest nut milk bag to make almond milk (see my story for details) and I’m definitely a fan. Not totally sure if it’s cost-effective (almonds are expensive and there’s some good quality nut milk brands like @califiafarms that I often find on sale for very cheap, especially at @sprouts ), BUT I do love that I know exactly what is in it (almonds and water and @evolutionsaltco pink salt- that’s it!) and my favorite part honestly was probably how easy it was. For whatever reason, I assumed making nut milk would be time consuming, but aside from soaking the nuts, the whole blending and straining process probably took about 5 minutes. If you wanna try it out, use code avocadohmy for 10% off a nut milk bag of your own! If you consume a lot of nut milk and want simpler ingredients or are spending a lot of money, it’s definitely worth it to get one 👌🏼

This accomplishes a few things: eating out is a bit easier and also more fun (Chitpotle bowl: no beans, light rice, extra guac FTW), and also helps me achieve a balanced eating approach for my hormones, which can benefit from the occasional carb-up for the super active lifestyle I lead.

My grocery bag was so heavy Sofia had to help me lift it out of the cart lol. $55.00 local farm grown organic and healthy AF so if you think that's expensive think about how expensive Drs visits are later on in life. I did a 'no meat' experiment today and my bladder felt WAY BETTER than it ever did in these past 8 months of my chronic UTI (some docs misdiagnosed it as IC). It's quite possibly the best day so far. Frequency was every 3-4 hours today unlike my usual 1-1.5 hour. Today I only had Fiji water, raw Celery sticks with almond butter, and home-made Veggie Broth (zucchini, cilantro, celery, garlic, basil, cabbage, red bellpepper, stewed in Fiji water). I had 0 meats, so this might have been the key?🍗🗝 Usually I eat like this but with organic baked/steamed chicken, freshwater steamed fish, and home-made grass-fed bone broth. Seems my bladder wants 0 acidity (meat is low-to-high acidic). My supplements stayed the same. Been reading IC/UTI blogs on how some girls healed quickly on raw vegan/veggie-only diets, so I'll try this out for a week to see if there's truly a difference.🥑🥦🥒 I'm going to miss eating meat for a week.😂

Släng på de gröna bitarna av salladslöken, broccolin och toppa med en äggula. I recommend to use deep mag cup than bowl when you make matcha by electric whisk, or your matcha might go everywhere. 😂Green tea is good to drink with sweets and it help you to suppress a rapid rise in blood sugar levels^_^ May favorite way to drink matcha is to make green smoothie or make matcha latte at home with soy milk. The traditional Japanese way to drink matcha is simply whipped matcha in tea ceremony. I also love it 😍
