I didn’t get to the gym this morning because life is still having me play catch-up on all things. But breakfast was the PB&J Bowl regardless! And since PB&J is one of my favorite things...this was a great birthday breakfast! This is @so_delicious Yogurt, @smuckersbrand Natural Grape Jelly, organic green grapes, Homemade Cashew Butter, and @back2naturefood Gluten Free Vanilla Almond Agave Granola (which I forgot was on my desk until after I was in a few bites in).

Okay. Truth is, I eat soooooo many salads that sometimes I skip it and eat a vegetable some other way. But salad is my staple, and I’m sticking to it. Gives me energy. Pep. I feel gooooood, and I knew that I would. So good! So good! I got youuuuuuu! 🌈🌿 @lettucefarm greens with micro greens and pea shoots. 🌱Lemon cucumber🥒, mini peppers🌶, cherry tomatoes 🍒, pear🍐, slivered almonds, olives, green beans, black pepper and woaaahh this dressing from @traderjoes: Almond Butter Turmeric Salad Dressing. 🤩💛Thank you for THAT TJ’s! More ways to enjoy my greens.
Finally after many attempts, managed to make a gluten free roti 😁😁😁😁 This roti is made from ragi flour and rice flour. Followed the procedure shared in happy home maker channel in YouTube. The rotis didn't break while rolling with the usual belan. I was able to roll it thin. It wasn't silky soft as a wheat roti. But it isn't a big deal. We had the rotis with potato sabzi and a carrot raitha for dinner 😋
Stiliseeritud maja kujund sümboliseerib lihtsustatult talu, millest paljud on tänapäeval moodsad tootmiskeskused

September = trying to be healthier!
So this looks like we are simply the healthiest family ... well we aren't, we are like everyone else.. just doing our best. Over the last few years and thanks to my sister @marykerin I have gained a huge amount of education and knowledge about good food and nutrition.
My children love ice cream chocolate & sweets and after school they almost expect a treat everyday... this is a bad habit @marykerin I'm going to kick! So our new "good habit" will be when the lads come in from school they can make their own juice... pick their own fruit and one veggie at least 🤗... working good so far.

I am on a mission!
To bake a loaf of bread that brings life and not death.
Full disclosure: I am a keto eater so I do not partake in a lot of carbs. But my kids are not keto.
I've been on the hunt for healthy bread for them and I can't find what I am looking for.
Maybe in Europe I could find it. Maybe in a vibrant city neighborhood it might exist but I haven't found it near me, even at farmer's markets.
I have switched to commercial organic bread which is a good first step but it still has lots of extra sugars and soy in it plus the wheat used is still hybridized causing gluten digestive issues, inflammation, and inferior nutrition.
Also commercial yeast is a problem as it has been engineered to work great but at the loss of nutrition as well.
So what am I doing? I am making my own.
I have Eikhorn wheatberries from Italy on order. It is an ancient unhybridized wheat. It is not treated with Glyphosate (round up/poison) like American wheats.
I am going to make a starter from the flour instead of using commercial yeast.
I am not adding extra sugar or fillers!
Jesus called himself the Bread of Life. Bread has always been a healthy and sustaining food source until recently.
There has to be a way to return.
Wish me luck!
