Follow some of these simple tricks to get your daily dose of fibre.
*Snack on whole fruits instead of refined and packaged products
*Chew your food well
*Make sure you increase your fluid intake as you increase you fibre for its optimal utilisation
*Use whole grains & millets such as whole wheat flour, bajra, nachni, jowar, buckwheat, lapsi, brown rice etc. instead of refined cereals
* Follow 5 a day- Eat a minimum of 5 servings of fruits and vegetables daily.
*Include nuts such as almonds and walnuts as a part of your daily food list.
