Caps Ridge was a blast on a perfect day. I love the topography of the mountains, and this trail in particular with its beautiful structure, features and arrangement. This view, from Mt. Clay, is particularly fantastic.
This week I experienced homesickness, but a weird homesickness where I wasn't homesick to any certain place, but I guess rather to the feeling of home. So I handled it by looking back on photos over the last two years and remembering which moments have given me that home-y feeling. Here's one of those moments. Watching sunset with @jennaandco_ in a state I'd never been before. & for sure sunsets have already easily made their way to being one of my favorite & nostalgic things of this summer
Boy was this a weekend! Headed up to Sugar Hill after work on Friday and got there just in time for some sunset shots. Slept in my car, then woke up at 4am for sunrise shots. This photo came straight out of my camera, if that helps explain how amazing the light was on these lupines 😍 always worth the ridiculous hoops you have to jump through to get the perfect shot... Like sleeping in a Ford fusion half in the trunk 😁 thanks for putting up with me @pcesiro
look i know no one likes that one white kid who keeps plugging his soundcloud account but i promise it’s worth it 🌑 this is an old project but has a special place in my heart, this song especially 🏎 #INTHEWHIP feat. my brother k-deezy is a fuckin banger plain and simple, and one of the best songs of 2017 hands down... check it out in my bio now 🎧 remember i’m dropping 50 unreleased songs, each sure to only get 15 listens each, and putting out 1 daily until i get my first real hit 📀 i’m not asking you to share this shit, i’m just asking that you take a listen and remember what it sounds like so you’ll recognize the same kid when he’s on the radio and not just your phone
Happy Father’s Day to the man who still teaches me to take life seriously while not taking myself too seriously. Words give up when trying to say I grateful I am, someday my life won’t though.
Thank you for the hours long conversations, the mountains of wisdom, the corniest jokes, and the purest of hearts. You’re a phenomenal pastor, a hilarious teacher, an incredible man of God, but mostly my dad.
I wouldn’t have anyone else for it.
So I definitely underestimated the power of Saturday nights on the cape and a good beach, but it started dying down around midnight when this was taken. There was just one straggler left who actually hit the sea wall with her car and for whatever reason wanted to leave her headlights on. Regardless, even though there were a lot of distractions, the Milky Way managed to pop out and grace us with her presence.
