Nothing gets closer to the nature than a beautiful wooden box when it comes to a display piece.
In a push to be more environmentally responsible, we recycle 100% of the excessive paper and styrofoam through a local recycler company recommended by National Environment Agency.
We do so because none of us here at Juicee's Craft feel "it is okay to throw papers away". Because it simply isn't.
Plastic packaged fruits & veggies info:
🍌Packaged fruits are nothing but pure waste, more than likely the packaging cannot be recycled.
🍌Fruits and veggies already come in a protective skin! #nature
🍌Prepackaged orange segments last about 4 days where a whole orange can last a month.
🍌Plastic wrapped fruits and veggies also prevent gas from escaping, which increases the ripening and rotting process.
🍌Search out unwrapped fruits and vegetables whenever possible.
🍌Farmers Markets and independent shops are great places to find fresh foods like the veggies pictured here at our local @kalamazoomarket
🍌Local, unpackaged fruits and veggies tend to also be less expensive.
🍌Let your grocer or customer service desk know that you don’t want excessive plastic packaging.

Plastic takeout container info:
🥡Polystyrene plastics are extremely toxic to make and difficult to recycle.
🥡EPA ranks styrofoam manufacturing’s the 5th worst global Indusin terms of hazardous waste creation. (Things I don’t want touching my food 😳)
🥡Polystyrene and styrofoam are even banned from many recycling programs because of contamination problems.
🥡Encourage your favorite restaurants to switch to a eco friendly option like @eco_island_packaging is great!
🥡When ordering takeout tell them you will bring your own container to transport the food in.
🥡Carry a metal or glass container with you when dining out to take leftovers home in.
🥡Take a few extra minutes to sit and enjoy your meal without taking it to go.

I couldn’t help adding this one I can’t wait to get printed. Just sketching up a banana and apple for the print collection on request this evening as well for the kids room decor collection. The shop is looking a lot more interesting now after a busy evening categorising and adding new stuff. Check out the link in bio to have a browse.
Greetings from Lake Tahoe 👋🏽 The beauty here is absolutely unreal.. this trip has been such a blessing but also the biggest test of trying to see the best in a bad situation, seems like a new lesson is learned everyday & for that I’m grateful even when I don’t always have the best attitude.
Perspective & gratitude for the smallest things in life is huge for me, what’s a trip without some physco Carter chaos? 😂
I’m feeling not too good today, the allergies & elevation up here has got me ☹️ Some colorful greens is what I need.. who doesn’t love a summer salad?! 🥗 🍅🥑🥒🥕 Mixed with greens & spinach, chickpeas, tomatoes, avocado, bell peppers, shredded carrots & cucumbers
Hope everyone’s having a beautiful Tuesday 🌲💚
Woah! Woah! We’re half way there... I’ll spare you the Bon Jovi reference.
We are half way through the #plasticfreejuly challenge! How are you doing?
Have you cut down on 1 single use plastic or maybe more?! We have been excited and challenged this month right along with you!
If you have noticed we are gathering as much information as we can find on plastic pollution and sharing as many alternatives that we can with you!
We also decided to only share only positive photos for the month of plastic alternatives.
We are inundated with the tragedy and horror of what single use plastics can do every day and as we want to give you all hope that we can, together, make a difference.
Please share with us and one another ideas or tips on what you are doing in your homes, workplaces and communities to cut down on single use plastics!
