Washington Irving’s Sunnyside, a Dutch/Gothic/Tudor concoction of 1830s Romanticism. The house originally began its life as a late 17th century stone house, built by Wolfert Acker (brother of my 9th great grandfather) and later owned by the Van Tassel family.
Awkward posing on point ◇
It has been a while since I posted a picture of me and my fiancé (love this word and overusing it without shame). So here you go: A little throwback to last Sunday in Thorn.
Talking about photos, I convinced @bram.verbeeck to do an engagement photoshoot, yay. Mainly because I want all of our important milestones to be photographed. But I didn't factor in that I actually don't like posing and having my picture taken. Also I would like to have the shoot somewhere in our city, because we are city people and wouldn't be caught dead in a field 😂. So now I have got myself quite the challenge looking for a photographer that is good with city backdrops, one camera-shy and one -luckily- photogenic subject. #tipsplease#ofcoursewepay
