🌱ATTENTION BAO LOVERS 🌱
🌝 Have you tried our #Vegan Bao Buns? 🔥 Earthy White Miso Aubergine, topped with a drizzle of our Secret Recipe Chilli Oil, a scatter of the ever-popular Maple Toasted Peanuts and a Crispy Tempura Lotus Root, all wrapped in a light, white cloud of Bao. ⁉️ What’s not to love here?
Making a round of dumplings with a minimalist wrap technique...as long as they are tasty, it doesn’t matter what they look like! When freezing, I have trouble with it sticking to my plates so I use cling film. I would love to find an alternative solution, I know beeswax wraps don’t really work for this scenario. Maybe a silicone baking sheet? Still pondering other alternatives #dumplingsfordays
Mao prefers not to use the term 'bird's eye view'. 🤷🏼♀️ If you ask him, no bird would simply 'view' his noodles.. they'd dive in as soon as they eyed them! 🤣 As for Wellingtonians, they tend to be much the same! 💕 Fortunately, we're more than prepared! Dive into a feed just like this one at the @occasionalbrewer [85 Adelaide Rd, Newtown] tonight from 5-8pm! 🙌
The oyster omelette (Chinese: 蚵仔煎) is a dish of Teochew origin that is widely known for its savoury taste in its native Chaoshan along with Taiwan, Fujian, and many parts of Southeast Asia due to the influence of the Chinese diaspora. -
Dealing with our oyster popcorn will not hurt you !
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? 🥟
8 dumplings for <1 USD is just one reason I love Taipei night markets! These were plump and juicy, but skip the sauce as it’s a bit too sweet and not needed #RaoheNightMarket#IndugentEatsTaipei
Santa's sleigh is looking very full this Christmas! 🙌 He's sending out bottles of Mao's signature chilli oil and Hangy Combo vouchers to Wellingtonians all over! 💕 Have you submitted your wish for a gift from Mao?! If not, you'll have to tell Santa tomorrow at the @occasionalbrewer [85 Adelaide Rd, Newtown] from 5-8pm! 🙏 Hint: sometimes Santa goes by the name 'Drew'!
After some tiring project , time to hearing some peranakan facts , that this is us !

We’ll continue in another post ! Did you curious guys about us ?

I’ve never met a person who doesn’t like dumplings. Have you?
Been trying out my fat fingers at making and pleating different kinds of dumplings which has now grown into a full-fledged obsession. Help 😅
