Calories counting: why yes, why no❓
✅ It helps to organize your food habits. You know exactly when and what you gonna eat.
✅ It helps to understand the size of the portion and to see what products exactly and how many you can eat
✅ You know exactly how many nutrients you eat. A lot of people overestimate the amount of protein or carbs they actually eat
✅ Overeating is under control. You can see exactly why you can't lose weight
✅ When you put your daily food intake in application, you become more conscious about quality of food you eat
✅ If you want to change quality of your body - to get minimal fat percentage or to increase muscle mass - you need to count your calories to see results.
✅ Too much stress and hustle. To put in application every piece of food you eat is boring and takes time
✅ You start to "work out" eaten calories in gym, which leads to food disorder behaviours.
✅ You become nervous about calories and start panicking if you're still hungry and already used ur caloric limit for today
✅ You become addictive to counting calories. You eat not food anymore, but amount of grams of macro and micronutrients
✅ You stop feeling hunger. You ignore the needs of your body and don't eat if you already used ur caloric intake.
💭Conclusions are: calories counting are good for fitness beginners to understand amount of calories in types of food and for professionals to achieve athletic goals. Normal person who goes to gym regularly and eat healthy shall not concentrate on calories counting much. You can see how your body reacts on different types of food and when its better to eat less or start eating more.

Been working hard with Richard for some time now and a few days before his 61st birthday we have managed to achieve the goal we set. Bit annoyed that I no longer have the before photos but the stats are what count.
Richard was 200lbs and has lost a total of 33lbs bringing him back down to 167lbs, his weight during his 20,s
His waist has dropped from 38.5 to 33.2 (5.3 inches lost)
He also regained stability and strength from a long term knee injury and can now complete a series of Olympic lifts and difficult exercises most males would find tough.
He now has an extensive knowledge of nutrition and training.
I’m Looking forward to now setting more goals for December with Richard.
If you looking for personal training and want to achieve your fitness goals feel free to reach out to me today and book in a free consultation.

Do you suffer from back pain? ☝🏼 Do you sit at a desk all day? ☝🏼 Do you look down at your phone with your neck tilted? *
All of the above, over time, can cause us to have a bad back or curved posture ❌ This is not what we want.
The two most common forms of Back curvature are...
Being Kyphotic means you have rounded shoulders, an outward curve in the spine & a hunched upper back ❌ Being Lordotic means you have an inward curve in the lower spine, which tilts your hips ❌
There is also Scoliosis which is a sideways curve. More often found in women from carrying their child on their favourite side. So how can this be rectified? *
The above all show imbalances. Strengthening your Posterior Chain muscles such as the Latissimus Dorsi, Rhomboids, Rear Deltoids, Erector Spinae & TLF will help ✅ Watch the videos above 🎥 Other areas to Strengthen include your Gluteus Maximus & Hamstrings in the Legs ✅ Plus improving your Core stability & trunk muscles ✅ *
