Breath is truly what connects us to all of life. There’s a reason why we call it Vital Force, aka Prana for all you yogis and meditators. 🧘♀️💕When we breathe deeply we feel alive instead of living on auto pilot. When we breathe deeply we connect to ourselves! It’s also extremely important for sleep! Since I moved to Denver I’ve been struggling with my sinuses particularly at night and it’s been a struggle to get a good night’s sleep. The Colorado dry air coupled with so much pollen 🤗🌸 used to have me waking up in the middle of the night to reset my breathe and clear my sinuses a few times. But now it’s hello sleep for me! A couple drops of the Breathe respiratory blend on my chest and an hour of the diffuser before bed is my routine now to get me a peaceful night’s sleep 😴. #lovedoterra#doterra#breathe#breath#life#sleep#beautysleep#colorado#denver#dryair
In Winter, our skin gets dry due to following reasons.. ⠀
☁️ Cold, dry air. It has less moisture than warm or hot air. ⠀
🌫️ Harsh winds. It can strip your skin of its natural oils. ⠀
🔥 Indoor heating ⠀
🛁Hot showers and baths ⠀
☕ Hot drinks. Coffee and chocolate contain caffeine, and caffeine can dry your skin from the inside. ⠀
🧥 Winter clothing
the altitude in tahoe makes my dry skin even drier...😳.
even the most moisturizing lotions i have are really no match up here.
i had already started to add 1-2 drops of lavender & frankincense in my hands followed by my lotion before bed for extra skin support. in tahoe, i’m doing this multiple times a day, as well as doing the same to the bottoms of my feet!
i 💗 my time in tahoe...my skin not so much, but these two together have made it easier!
