Still feeling so proud of what I have accomplished this year - physically and mentally. I am so thankful that Karey Salem saw my potential and provided me with the perfect guidance to ignite my passion for excellence, integrity, commitment, and pride within myself and for myself. I do not know what the future in this sport holds for me, but I DO know that I can achieve results beyond even my greatest imaginings. #thisisme#thisiswhatstronglookslike#womenstrong#womenbodybuilding#allnatural#drugfreeathlete
Never forget where you came from.
Bodybuilding started for me in 2008 when a friend asked if I wanted to do a bodybuilding show with him. I knew jack shit about the sport, but I liked to workout (mostly just to get better at basketball) and I knew who Ronnie Coleman was so why not. Little did I know that it would become such a huge passion even 10 years later.
How did you get started in bodybuilding/powerlifting/working out?
After a show it's always good to have a plan for what you're going to do next. My plan was to SLOWLY bump calories up over the next few months and try to manage 15-17lbs above stage weight in the off-season.
Did that happen? Hell no! I went straight to eating 2-4k extra calories each day! It's so hard to turn down food without that show on the horizon.
However, compared to my other #contestprep this is the best I've done!
Moral of the story - If you're reverse dieting out of a show or dieting in general, you're never going to be perfect, but as long as you're improving that's what matters. ✌🏼
🤔 What is the most effective exercise for building muscle mass on the legs??? _
In my opinion, SQUATS!
I'm 5 weeks post bodybuilding show and these are starting to feel normal again. Strength block from my Powerbuilding routine has been going great and I'm eating like a man-beast! 💪🏼

Thanks @cordova_gabe for the super sweet vid 📽
Know who you are and not just who you want people to see you to be. Being grounded and comfortable with yourself is the first steps towards progress and growth.
Coming to terms with my body size and shape has given me the keys to train strategically towards my goals. #knowyourself#selfawareness#bodyacceptance#echt

First pro card!!!! Things were not going my way last few days and this morning but in the end all things fell into places. Thanks y’all for all texts and messages. Throwback to my posing routine from last months bodybuilding competition. This routine was the result of hours and hours of practice. Lots of early mornings and long nights after work.
Having a "musical ear" is not one of my talents. Can I stay on beat? NOPE! I literally could not have done this with out @_kt_did_ being there ALL the time telling me when I should hit my poses. She has the patience of a warrior princess! 😄
Anyone that does BB can tell you posing is one of the hardest parts of the sports but its crucial for displaying your physique.. That's why I'm making it a point this off-season to continue to practice posing. 💪🏼
