Once dromedars were taking nomads through the desert, today its the other way round:) We absolutely love travelling for pictures like that. It so much makes our day and opens up our horizon. Whats the craziest thing youve ever seen on your journey?
The day before the day before yesterday was the third time in my life I've ridden a camel! 🐪🐪🐪
The second time was two weeks ago with my sister @annemarieoctavio outside of Tangier, on the day we arrived in Morocco. (How quickly two weeks have flown by!)
The first time was in 1999, when I was still in college studying German in Germany. I didn't ride the camel in Germany though. Some friends and I went on a Spring-break trip to Tunisia in March of 1999.
That was my first time to Africa, and it was my first camel ride.
I've actually got pics documenting all three of those dromedary rides! (I've been calling them "camels," but I'm pretty sure all three were one-hump dromedaries. (Maybe the Tunisian camel had two humps? Not quite sure!)
Swipe right to have a look and tell me what you think! 😊😊
#legzira#amazingbeach#marroko#dromedary#triplovers 🇲🇦
