I put SO many things in my morning smoothie and Maca is one of those throw in things for me. I add it to help reduce anxiety through my day, PLUS y’all... it helps improve learning and memory and I need ALLLL that in my life! Maca contains plant compounds called flavonoids, which are partly responsible for these psychological benefits. Maca is filling too! I get mine from @traderjoes !
Here are some other benefits:
1. Boost energy & endurance
2. Improve mood
3. Reduce blood pressure
4. Fight free radicals

It's been a long time since I've had a whiskey sour!
I usually just drink beer because it's in stores, with carts to contain the 2 babies! Out here in the country the liquor stores are super small & my kids would be like a bull in a china shop there! .
One of best tip you’ll ever get when it comes to health and weight loss is making sure you stay hydrated 💧 and drink enough water.
There are SO many options for cool stainless steel water bottles out there (no plastic 🙅🏻♀️). So grab yourself a cute one and take it everywhere with you 😉. My favorite brand is @healthyhumanlife ! Helping me stay hydrated in the San Diego heat while working at the @sandiegowestcoastcarnival with @torimarie_fitness today 🦋.
Have a fun weekend everyone and remember, one glass of water between each glass of wine 🍷😉.
Ps: I know I am a natural when it come to posing 😂
You guys!!! I am inspired to drink 1 gallon of water a day! (That's 128 ounces). I feel like I drink a decent amount of water, but probably nowhere near what I should. The only way to know how much is to actually track it! I could carry around the gallon jug like some people do, but I don't want to lol. (And I just think of how difficult that will be to clean). So I have my 32 oz Nalgene and I will fill it 4 times throughout my day. I prepared myself to ease into it and thought this would take a lot to build up to, but I got to 116 ounces yesterday with no problem! Today I'm going all the way! The trick is to start early. I already had 2 bottles done (64 oz) before noon today! I also find that I drink a fair amount when I eat too. And then of course working out...I drink a lot then. I challenge you to drink more water too! Don't they say the recommendation is half your body weight in ounces? This is obviously way more than that, but water is SOOOOOOO good for us! Dehydration is a nasty thing. If can even affect our mood. The body needs lots of water for daily function and not to mention the glorious things it does for the skin. So drink up buttercup!! #water#inspiration#inspired#drinkwater#drinkmorewater#gallon#gallonofwater#onegallon#onegallonaday#dehydrated#dehydration#hydration#everyday#challenge#drinkup#drinkupbuttercup#glowingskin

I must be no more than twenty feet from running water at any given time yet probably consume a fraction of what my body needs. My brain feels permanently foggy.
Here are just some of the incredible things water does:
1. Increases brain power and provides energy. Since your brain is 73% water, drinking water helps you think, focus, concentrate and stay alert.
2. Flushes out toxins. Consider toxins the boats floating through your body. Water is the river that floats those toxins out. When the water levels drop, the toxins get stuck and cause harm.
3. Improves your complexion. Your skin is an organ and water is important for organ function. Drinking water helps to moisturise it, keep it soft, and reduce wrinkles.
4. Boosts your immune system. Water carries oxygen to your body's cells, and flushes harmful toxins from your body.
5. Puts you in a better mood. Just as a well-oiled engine runs at top performance, your body will work better when properly hydrated. And when your internal systems and organs are running better, you’re more likely to feel better about yourself and be in a good mood!
In short, water puts you at the TOP OF YOUR GAME physically and mentally. It’s time for me to quench my thirst and become an aqua-holic 💯
