It’s not the story I thought I’d have in the middle of October as a former teacher, but it’s one I’m glad I said yes too!
When I started this page it was for my own accountability and my own weight loss and it still is, but it’s also transformed. It’s a safe space to be struggling in your moment and to be dark in your mind and to celebrate all the good days in between. I want to help you celebrate your good moments as much as I want to have your back when you’re in a dark place and I want to show you that food can be medicine but sometimes the food and gym meds aren’t enough and you need the real meds. I’ve been in some of my darkest times here lately friends but advocating for you and your struggles and making you feel less alone makes me feel like I have a purpose. So keep pushing and keep growing and remember that you’re a flower and the rain may flood you out but you’ll grow anyways. 🌻

Water is crucial for us to thrive, just like it is for our plants to survive. I’m working with a fitness coach (for free with the weight-loss supplements I’m taking) and when she told me how much water 💦 I need to drink each day 👀 I didn’t think I could do it! I came up with a system and it’s working so I thought I would share. I simple fill up my large insulated cup (pictured in my hand) and drink it 3 times each day (filtered water, no ice). I start first thing in the morning and try to finish the first one by mid morning, the second one by the end of lunch and the last one with dinner. That way I’m not drinking too much water at bedtime 😂. In case you are wondering, I drink at least 80 ounces per day. Do you drink enough water? How much water do you drink and how do you keep track of it? Gimme your tips! 😃
Like I mentioned, I'm in fair prep mode for the first half of this challenge, which doesn't leave a lot of time for other things. I know I could (and should) make the time, but Etsy and this fair are my sole job right now so I feel better putting the majority of my time an effort into that. But the good news is that I'm drinking plenty of water and eating reasonably well. I'm also still doing small routines in between projects and necessary daily routines & functions.
Tomorrow I get my break day from crafting when my parents and I do our annual corn maze. Expect photos come Saturday.

💦WATER!💦Who's drinking their recommended water intake?! I didn’t know about half of this 👇🏻 Did you know? ... Glucose cannot leave the body without a water molecule attached via urination. Thirst is your body's cue for help in removing excess glucose. Drinking water and going to the bathroom are PLAN A to get glucose out of your system.
Plan B? Fat storage. Yep.
So basically, if you don't want to be inconvenienced by frequent bathroom visits you are choosing fat storage. Drink your water!

Study’s show that by drinking water before a meal you tend to eat less, makes sense right! Drinking two cups of water before a meal will keep you hydrated, fuller, and may even boost your metabolism for an hour. And all you need to do is turn on your tap. Talk about convenience.
