We started his dreads three years ago, this is after 6 months of no maintenance. I feel inspired to no end! Several years ago he dropped some ideas of what he wanted for his future to take a job opportunity with a big company and move on a whim. Now he’s so happy and traveling internationally with this company and seeing more opportunities than he ever could imagine. Want to find true happiness? Drop all expectations and get in the flow! #dreadlocks#dreaded#dreads#dreadlife#sacramentodreads#locktician#916dreads#916
HAPPY 1 YEAR TO MY DREADLOCKS! Some not all. Various stages/ages. 1. They’re pretty much straight. That one’s a little kinky. 2. The end begins to tangle! So exciting! 3. The end becomes what I call a Twirley-woo! It’s getting sucked up into the dread! 4. The twirley-woo begins to tangle around itself. 5. The dread and end begin to become one. 6. A mature dread becomes a tear drop shape! A tear drop shape for me, not sure about other ppl. That’s how my dreads grow! It’s a journey because literally everyday is different. It’s been amazing watching my hair “learn” how to grow in a dread. Initially I had to keep the ends tight bc they were constantly untangling. Then they learned to lock!
