Posts have been slow because I've been busy moving. I'm finally set up in my own space, my own corner of the universe.
Up until now, I've worked out of my living room. It has been very difficult on different aspects of both my work and non-work life. And my SO is awesome for putting up with my boxes and paperwork all over the place for the past few years.
But everything I've made and learned until now has been out of a dark corner (literally and figuratively). So while I am slobbering over my new space, it's important to note that you don't need these crazy artist studio setups you see on IG in order to get shit done. It's nice, but don't let your lack of amazing space stop you from doing. Put on some headphones or something, put your nose down, and grind it out.
Being able to just produce in a dedicated space is a luxury I know a lot of artists either don't have, would kill for, or take for granted. Now I can create UNRESTRICTED, mentally and literally. Watch out now.
