I’m telling you, the ultimate booty builder. β€’β€’ Tried something new today - b stance hip thrusts 🎊 saw these on @bretcontreras1 page & was curious on how they feel compared to regular hip thrusts. I did a lighter weight to get used to the feeling of it. You put one foot completely on the floor (I struggled with these because I always do hip thrusts from my heels) and the other foot JUST on your heel. You will definitely feel it more on the side that your heel is up. β€’β€’β€’ I did 4 sets of 10 each side & supersetted it with sumo DL! ✨

The first video was one of my activation exercises. I did 3 sets of these with reps ranging from 10-15 depending on how it felt. It helped me a ton to touch the area I was focusing on, such as my glutes and my hips.

One focus I've had this year is to build the glutes. Like everyone right? 😜 After integrating these exercises and eating properly (enough)… I’ve had noticeable improvements. My absolute favorites are deadlifts, reverse lunges, glute bridges, and hip thrusts. These all DIRECTLY target the glutes. Notice how I didn’t mention squats… Yes, squats still target the glutes but it is mostly a quad dominant move. (Still very important to integrate into your workout routine!) πŸ˜‹πŸ‘ Happy humpday!

Yesterday I posted some Wednesday booty motivation πŸ‘ but today I thought I would post a video on showing HOW to do my favorite move for activating the glutes! πŸ™ŒπŸ» If you haven’t tried bands with your hip thrusts your missing out! The burn is REAL!!! 😡The key is to keep tension on the outside of the glutes by pushing and holding the band OPEN the whole time. Doing the thrust motion reallllyyyy targets those buns. You may add weight after your familiar with this one but it’s important to get the right technique first. Give it a try and tell me what you think! Burn baby burn!!! πŸ”₯
