Music inspired by @beeple_crap amazing artwork. This picture looks like it would have an isolated feel. Like the creature there was trying to keep his mind occupied and happy while feeling completely cut off from everyone. This was in turn leading him to go a little insane. That's the story I ran in my head anyway while writing the track.

December 2018 Challenge:
Instruments & Software:
Ableton Live 10
I started the track using Signal. I wanted this to have a bit more of an organic sound. Smoother and more natural sounds instead of sharp synths. I worked out a chord progression with a gated piano sounds and layered it with another smooth pad sounds. I then programmed in the drum pattern with an Ableton Drum rack and layered it with some bigger, one shot drum samples. Next, I added in Serum and wrote out a bass line. I layered a couple instances of Serum to really thicken up the bass. lastly I wrote the melody that comes in during the 2nd half of the track and added Exhale for some vocal type sounds.
I grew up in down south Texas my entire life. I’m appreciative of all the blessings that allow me to travel and see new things... The world never seizes to amaze me. A few days ago, I was able to capture the first flurries that fell from the sky in #Canada and it was truly a magical moment. I was shivering cold, wet mud underneath my toes and it didn’t bother me not one bit. Saturday, I begin a new journey and venture off even further from home and I know it’s going to be absolutely wonderful... 🎼Snug-Aso🎶
