There is ALWAYS time to get in a workout. Those that call me crazy are usually the ones who also say that they’re too busy. Cut the shit. I am busy. I know busy very well. Every day of the week i have soccer, Jiujitsu or gymnastics. Plus I work a 9-5 job that usually has me there longer than I like. Kids have homework, there is a mound of laundry to do and a load of dishes that need attention. Do not make excuses... just say that A.) you’re too lazy (I can respect that lol) or say B.) it’s not a priority. But stop with the excuses because it gets you nowhere. You are more than capable to this and you just have to get your mental state in the right place. Know why you want it and write that shit down. Do not accept what is; especially if you’re unhappy... you are in charge so stop acting like things can’t change and start making the change 😘 you are meant for more! Stagnant energy = Negative energy. This goes for the Mind, Body and your living space. Stagnant energy can literally pile up and weight you down. Create a personal practice to declutter the mind, stimulate it by using it in different areas other than your routine. Cleanse the body, workout, eat healthy. Clean your living space often, move things that haven't been touched in a long time. Flowing energy can do wonders for you.

This week in lifting (and eating).
Started the week with SSB box squats (heaviest triple) and SSB squats. 240lbs 3x8 shown.
Next training session was bench, worked up to a "heavy" single of 265lbs, then dropped down to 215lbs 3x5 (shown). I've only been benching regularly for about 3 weeks, so pretty happy with 265 for right now.
Wacky Wednesday burger was amazing: 1/3rd lbs burger topped with pulled-pork, cheese curds, mac and cheese and spicy mayo.
Thursday is deadlift day! Top set of 450lbs for a double. Pain free and easy! Deadlift is getting better again!

As tempting as it may be to go all-out, rest isn’t just an optional treat. It’s an essential part of your training, and if you neglect it, you’ll pay sooner or later!
