You could say rock candy making was a success.
Lifes about balance right? Does it count if pepper and I eat all this on our own? (; Most is being gifted, but you bet your booty I'm going to enjoy some. 🎁
When you wake up feeling like a boss 😁
I've been saying a bit that my nutrition hasn't been the greatest, but these past 2 weeks I've been on my meal plan 90% and THE RESULTS SHOW! I'm back down to my original weight and I just feel good as fuck.
This is a great way to start as a Saturday!
My husband is my very best friend. Out of all the people on the planet. We’ve been a couple for nearly nine years. He is the rock I cling to when the oceans get stormy.
So, when people tell me “isn’t it going to be so hard to be apart from him for so long?” Or “I would never sacrifice my life like that.” I nod, grit my teeth and move on from the conversation. Because yes, separation during boot camp will suck. The possibility of deployment haunts me.
But read that first paragraph again. He’s my best friend. And if he’s willing to take a chance on finding a career that makes him happy within the Air Force, then I will 100% support him. His happiness matters to me. Not for one second would I want him to live a life he hated all because we would be close to family and “stable”.
This will be hard. Yes.
I will most likely be living across the country from my family. Yes.
But, this is the life WE choose.
Our future is completely ours.
And it’s looking much brighter already.
Saturday morning brought to you by 7 salads in a Starbs cup, three layers of clothing because I hate winter, and an array of plant material behind me working as my coworkers this morning as I have the office to myself for the morning.
The older I get, the more “Saturday” is just another day in the mix and not a magical day where calories and decisions don’t count.
If you have goals, bigger aspirations, things you want to accomplish but seem to have roadblocks setting you back - take advantage of Saturday. Don’t let the weekend be your weak-end. ✌🏼
