There are things we all dream about doing in our lives but, getting started, making a game plan to make it happen, and actually finishing it are big feats!
I have heard about people doing morning routines but never knew how much prioritizing the most beneficial things to you in the first hour you wake up, can really change your life and empower you to get the right things done!
☀️ I have started with just a few key things and am fine tuning what to do better and what do add, but it’s already literally changed my life and I’m able to get the most enriching life habits done first, then planning my goals and how to get them done after!
Here’s what it looks like so far...
1. Wake up & get up within 10 min of my first alarm
2. Drink full bottle of water
3. Change into work out clothing
4. Make bed
5. Make oat milk cappuccino
6. Prayer & meditation
7. Walk to park with James & exercise
8. Breakfast & make list of most important things to be done first, then write rest of to do list
There are a few things I want to add, but want to take time to master this schedule first! What are some morning rituals you do? Do you have a routine?

I was at @tower12hb the other day looking at all their awesome historical South Bay memorabilia. It inspired me to share the story behind some of the things we see every day. ”A surf hero and legendary lifeguard, Tim Kelly is remembered in Hermosa Beach by a bronze statue that sits at the foot of the Hermosa Beach Pier. Kelly, who was well known to the South Bay’s Junior Lifeguard Program, died at age 24 in a car crash while returning home from a surf trip to San Diego’s Trestles Beach in 1964. His death devastated the surfing world, especially in the South Bay. Following his death, Kelly’s friends and local lifeguards commissioned a statue in his honor. The first Tim Kelly statue, built 45 years ago, was made of foam and fiberglass. The memorial statue was built and originally placed at Kelley’s favorite surfing spot, the Breakwater. When the Charthouse was built on the beach, the statue was moved to the Hermosa Pier. The statue went through a series of refurbishings and was finally recast in a bronze replica.
A plaque on the monument reads, “The Tim Kelly lifeguard memorial is dedicated to the brave men and women who have passed through the ranks of the Los Angeles County Fire Department’s Lifeguard Division. Their courage, professionalism and devotion to lifesaving is recognized worldwide.” Sara Gasperov, Best of the South Bay .

When nursing school picked me up I was so scared to fail I almost turned them down.
When I graduated nursing school and I had to take the boards I was so terrified I would be the story of the girl who was never able to work as a nurse because she never passed the boards.
When I pursued my dream of competing in fitness and as the weeks got closer for me to actually have to step on stage I was beyond terrified and I wanted to back out so bad!
Well guess what?!
I passed nursing school while working full-time and being pregnant in the first year. .
I passed my boards on the first attempt!
I got 3rd place in the fitness category, top 5 in the bikini category and won BEST THEME WEAR on my first fitness competition!!!
Point being...DO WHAT SCARES YOU!! It's the only way to succeed! It's the only way to break the barriers that hold you in the same spot you've always been and may still be in now. It's ok to be afraid but it's not okay to let the fear paralyze you..this Monday decide to do something different. Do something that scares you!☺💪
