“Daddy the Packhorse”!!!
This is a throwback to when we were holidaying in North Wales. Bean was 3 and I was heavily pregnant with Little Miss.
We were walking to one of our favourite beaches in the whole world, Porthdinllaen on the Llŷn Peninsula. To access the beach you either walk across Morfa Nefyn beach or across Nefyn Golf Course with its beautiful views, which is what we are doing here. Bean’s little legs were tired so Mr J. carried him, along with all our beach paraphernalia!
Porth Dinllaen is included in my blog post “Our Top 5 places for Family Holidays on the Llŷn Peninsula, North Wales” which you can read by going to typicalmummy.co.uk (link in bio) and scrolling down. If you fancy a last-minute UK break in October half-term I can highly recommend the Llŷn Peninsula...whatever the weather!
I went running today, it was good, no it was fantastic! Still very busy on the top of Snowdon so a little detour to Garnedd Ugain gave me some quiet contemplation time to soak up the views ... Got very tempted to carry on towards Crib Goch, it looked so VERY tempting but as I had told my wife my route beforehand deviations would have had me in the dog house (damn you GPS tracking 😜) Seriously though safety first in the mountains!
‘Appreciate the World’.
It’s been pretty busy over at @journeys.peak.creative these past few months, safe to say that I’m very much looking forward to my holiday next month!. Also whilst you’re here, if there are any of you that are local to the Newport/Cardiff (or Bristol) area and are currently freelance creators (graphic design, photography, digital marketing etc) make yourselves known as I’d love to chat with you about some opportunities 🍁.
