Started with 60kg bench for 2 sets of 7 then 1 set of 6.
Next done dips with 10kg for 1 set of 6 then 1 set with no weight for 10.

🔹once failures reached... straight into body weight pause dips to failure.
🔹finish it of with bench dips to failure.
🔹3 sets, 1 minute rest, 1 second pause at the bottom of each rep, lock out at the top and lower yourself to create an angle at the elbow less than 90 degrees.

Let me know how you get on.... WARNING it’s not for the faint hearted. It becomes a mental game... the mind will always want to quit before the body.

Rep count growing and getting stricter with each training! I was pretty sore during this video and was able to get 5 arguably cleaner reps in a single set a few days prior to this not to mention all the physical labor I was doing the day after that didn’t exactly leave me on a full tank haha but no excuses just gunna rest up the old pulling muscles for a couple days and get right back to it! •

After enjoying the snow day yesterday, I am determined to kick myself in the ass and get to work. I started off the day with a nice work out (SWIPE) I’ve been struggling a lot lately with my body dysmorphia. Allow me to explain. Al though a lot of us have something we don’t like about our appearance, those who have BDD (Body dysmorphic disorder) think about their real/perceived flaws hours each day. It can be hard to control negative thoughts regardless of what others tell them. This can cause severe emotional distress. Research shows that it affects men and women almost equally and tends to develop in adolescents and teens. Those who struggle with Body Dysmorphia may also suffer from social anxiety, depression, eating disorders, or OCD. These are also commonly misdiagnosed. 
For me, I have been struggling with the way my body looked ever since high school right around when I stopped competitively swimming. I gained weight and my body changed a lot. I can feel extremely low and lack self-esteem, especially when I am unable to prioritize exercise and my nutrition. As of late, I have been so exhausted and haven’t been in the gym as much or eating the best I could be. I’ve been feeling soft and sad and it can be so easy to let those thoughts consume you. I know a lot of people may feel this way, and regardless of how heavily these thoughts can weigh on your daily life, they still matter just as much as the next person’s demons. Everyone lies on a spectrum of the way they see themselves and how that impacts them, and those of you who have developed ways to be beautifully happy in your own skin should strive to share that advice with others. 
I have to do work on things every single day to grow towards loving my own skin, and while 97% I am now able to do that, there is still that 3% that tries to creep in every so often. Surround yourself with loved ones who will help you kick those thoughts in the ass, have a friend who will help motivate you, but most importantly take some time to realize how beautiful and ENOUGH you are, and that you are fully capable of doing this on your own! Sometimes we just need a hand along the way:) Happy Monday!!
After enjoying the snow day yesterday, I am determined to kick myself in the ass and get to work. I started off the day with a nice work out (SWIPE) I’ve been struggling a lot lately with my body dysmorphia. Allow me to explain. Al though a lot of us have something we don’t like about our appearance, those who have BDD (Body dysmorphic disorder) think about their real/perceived flaws hours each day. It can be hard to control negative thoughts regardless of what others tell them. This can cause severe emotional distress. Research shows that it affects men and women almost equally and tends to develop in adolescents and teens. Those who struggle with Body Dysmorphia may also suffer from social anxiety, depression, eating disorders, or OCD. These are also commonly misdiagnosed. For me, I have been struggling with the way my body looked ever since high school right around when I stopped competitively swimming. I gained weight and my body changed a lot. I can feel extremely low and lack self-esteem, especially when I am unable to prioritize exercise and my nutrition. As of late, I have been so exhausted and haven’t been in the gym as much or eating the best I could be. I’ve been feeling soft and sad and it can be so easy to let those thoughts consume you. I know a lot of people may feel this way, and regardless of how heavily these thoughts can weigh on your daily life, they still matter just as much as the next person’s demons. Everyone lies on a spectrum of the way they see themselves and how that impacts them, and those of you who have developed ways to be beautifully happy in your own skin should strive to share that advice with others. I have to do work on things every single day to grow towards loving my own skin, and while 97% I am now able to do that, there is still that 3% that tries to creep in every so often. Surround yourself with loved ones who will help you kick those thoughts in the ass, have a friend who will help motivate you, but most importantly take some time to realize how beautiful and ENOUGH you are, and that you are fully capable of doing this on your own! Sometimes we just need a hand along the way:) Happy Monday!!

Chest and Triceps

Felt really tired today after work but despite that I had a solid workout which is a good sign I guess. I've been back doing weighted dips a few weeks and that is definitely helping all my pressing movements. I'll cruise up to Christmas, take a few days off off if I feel like it and regroup in the new year. I'm starting to get used to the new equipment in my new gym so I'm still training in a controlled and measured manner without going crazy.

En hantel på tån under rörligheten ledde till att vårt pass fick ändras till 5:or i bandassisterande dips.  Efter en emom på 15 min med 30s: chest to bar hold, passivt häng och L-sit. Vi avslutade med en tabata för magen på 12 min.

Towards the end of a workout, it can make a difficult 3 sets 🙃 Dig deep & find those limits.
