I’ve been chasing dinosaurs for a while now. Just when I thought I was going to eat some of my tags this year. We killed two last weekend and for last night. I have two more tags to fill myself and four more to help my friends fill. Then I’m back to my true obsession, waterfowling. #sickforit#gatorseason#Florida#dinosaur#gatorslostagain#franklincounty

From Disney’s Dinosaur! Not one of my favorites, but the meteor scene leaves me in awe. The sense of wonder in it is beautiful. It captures the imagination. I wonder what that day was like. Not good, obviously, but if one could phase into that time and just observe, the horror and destruction...must have been a frightening day in the history of our planet. Years and years of life just gone in an instant. Yikes.
The history of planet Earth, y’all. The history of planet Earth. 😕
But, as they say in Jurassic Park, “Life finds a way.”
I don't even know where to begin.
My buddy Sam Wilson suggested that I take up Ultimate Fighting. I got an invite for a fighting event last night and figured I'd give it a whirl. Upon showing up, I realized I'd been hoodwinked.
The nerve of this establishment, forcing dinosaurs to fight for public amusement! My seats were in "Steve's Section".... Some wiseguy named the defending undefeated heavyweight champ dinosaur after me!
I realized I was going to be the butt of the jokes all night when a crew of red, white, and blue dinosaur mascots got on stage to dance and hype up the crowd.
I wasn't sure who was behind this until I saw the ninja jump on stage to hold back a runaway velociraptor. I'm pretty sure the Hand have a.. well.. hand in this.
Shameful to think this kind of event runs! Keep the Dino's safe in the Savage Lands where they belong! If you're into watching dinosaurs fight, then be sure to check out the Jurassic Fight Nights at Pangea: land of the dinosaurs.
This unusual large mammal lived in North America during the
Pleistocene epoch until the end of the ice age. It roamed the earth
for over a million years, but suddenly disappeared (perhaps because of the climate changes). It was one of the largest land animals living during the ice age. Mastodon belonged to the family Mammutidae, that originated in North Africa, spreading to Eurasia and entering North America 15 million years ago. Its name means "nipple tooth". These elephant-like animals were affected by environmental changes. Mastodons living during the middle of the last glaciation were small, whereas those living later in forests were larger. It was mostly adapted to conifer forests and marsh. It fed on plants (conifer twigs, swamp plants, larch, spruce, pine, grass, mosses, etc.) and used its tusks to break branches. I have always enjoyed this model that came with my 3d printer. The normal size is only a 5ish hour print. So I got the PLA that is supposed to look like bone. I am not to sure about that last bit. Today though lets go big I have scaled it up to 38 1/2 hours, 250 percent. I hope this finishes I have never printed that long of part before. #3dprinting#dinosaur#3dprinteddinosaur#triceratops#tricetatopsskull
