It's the same with calories. If you know you're going to have an indulgent weekend, hold some calories back at the start of the week so that you have more to spend when you want to.

Back when I was struggling with food and my body, getting takeout was a huge source of stress. Added calories 😳, fat 😳, carbs 😳 and not being in complete control of ingredients, yikes! It was a recipe for extreme restriction, over exercising and self loathing following a takeout day.

Healthy Veggie Egg Muffins⠀ ⠀
Serves: 12 servings⠀
INGREDIENTS⠀
1 Tbsp olive oil⠀
½ yellow onion, chopped⠀
2 cloves garlic, minced⠀
½ shredded courgette ⠀
1 red bell pepper, chopped⠀
8 large eggs⠀
2 cups spinach roughly chopped⠀
Salt and pepper, to taste⠀
⠀
INSTRUCTIONS⠀
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a muffin tin with spray and set aside.⠀
In a large skillet on medium heat, drizzle olive oil and saute onion and garlic for about 4 minutes until tender and fragrant. Add in courgette and red bell pepper, cooking an additional 2 minutes. Fill each muffin tin about ⅔ full with veggie mixture.⠀
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, spinach and salt/pepper and fill each muffin tin evenly, being careful not to over-fill.⠀
Bake muffins for about 20 minutes, until they've risen and are slightly browned. Enjoy!⠀

I often get asked what is the best diet/ weight loss plan.
~
The answer is simple- there is no such thing as the best diet and if someone tries to tell you there is, they are talking 💩!
~
What works for one person might not work for another.
~
A daily calorie total of 2500 may put one person into a deficit, resulting in weight loss but put another person into a surplus and make them gain weight. This all depends on factors such as- male or female- age - weight - height- muscle mass - activity levels etc
~
Just because your friend lost weight following a macro diet plan doesn’t mean it will work for you if you stick to the exact same macros.
~
A diet that is too strict and aggressive can be very hard to actually stick to.
~
Dieting less aggressively can be a better option as you are more likely to stick to it for a longer period of time therefore more likely to get results.
~

Something that lots and lots of people underestimate is the importance of food choices when it comes to hunger. Yes, calories are king and macros come second. But if those calories and macros come from foods with little to no nutritional value, you're not going to control your hunger.

These 9 foods will definitely help you control your hunger. Black coffee and espresso because caffeine has an appetite suppressing working. Broccoli and oatmeal because they're high in fibre. I am Fit and healthy today because I started eating right food. And It would be the act of fool, if I start eating wrong food which will again slowly get me there where I had started from.
I'm feeling stronger than before, my endurance levels & lifting capacities are incredibly increasing, and my full body Medical reports are fantastic.
Conclusion: Don't fool yourself by putting Diesel instead of Petrol in your bike😂

That’s HUNGER. You see, when you’re trying to lose fat, you’ll most likely end up hungry sometimes, at those moments it’s key to have some low calorie high filling foods, so you can stay full until your next big meal. I got you! Check out the left side of this graph!

When it comes to building muscle and gaining weight, it’s a trick to eat more less filling foods so you can eat more food. I remember the times when I had to eat 3.6k calories and I had to eat almost until I was vomiting. That’s not funny. What did I mess up? I ate super filling foods.. What can you do to avoid this? Eat less filling, high calorie foods, the ones on the right! I especially like the bottom row!! 🙄

My cat is sadly not very good at selfies, but how can YOU use these to track your progress? 📸Take your photos regularly, and at the same time each day/week. There can often be massive changes in your physique from one day to the next, or even over the course of a day, so set a repeat reminder on your phone! 📸Use the same location and lighting to take your photos, you can look MASSIVELY different in fluorescent light VS natural light etc so keep it consistent! 📸Try and capture as much of your body in the image as possible, and take front, side and back perspectives, you might be missing the area where you're making your best progress!

Here's a tip, protein of course would be your main source to focus on. But between carbohydrates & fats, choose one of them to focus on rather than having both of them. Chances are, there are more carbohydrates food out there that comes with lots of fats. Example, pastas  mash potatoes, pizzas, and most desserts! But there are more food from fat category that are low in carbs. Example, steak, bacon, cheese, and avocado. Of course, healthy fats would be a better option. I'm just giving examples out of the common food that we'll be having during a dinner party. .
Before doing that, be sure to understand the main source of macronutrients in your food/ingredients. From there, you'll be able to make better decisions!
