This winter like weather calls for warm, comforting meals! Shakshouka is one of my favorite dishes this time of year 😛 one, because it has a unique flavor and two, it can be made in 1 pot 😂🙌🏼 @minimalistbaker comin’ in clutch with the easiest, tastiest recipe!
On another note, this dish is best post workout. It’s filled with tons of veggies and by adding eggs, you’re adding one of the most bioavailable sources of protein needed for muscle recovery 💪🏼 add a carb like bread, pasta or rice to refuel!
I often get asked if all beans are high in protein 💁🏽♀️ While most beans and legumes are a popular healthy go-to food, not all are created equal.
Today I’m going to ‘spill the beans’ on the 3 most highly nutritious, protein- rich beans you should be stocking up on at home👇🏼
✔️ Soya Beans — these beans contain high amounts of protein in both the green and yellow variety (maturity) with 13.4g of protein per 100g serving alone!
✔️Black Beans — these tasty beans are also high in protein with 8.7g of protein per 100g serving.
✔️ Red Kidney Beans — delicious and packed with 6.9g of protein per 100g serving.
Do you have any of these stocked up in your pantry at home?
What to do with these fresh red tomatoes 🍅🍅🍅? I bought a whole bag directly from the farm and can't wait to eat them! 😊
They are packed with the antioxidant -Lycopene which is beneficial for heart health and is showing to be protective against prostate cancer.
Since cooking tomatoes actually help the Lycopene to work better-i'm thinking of roasting them with some other veggies and throwing them into a pasta sauce 😍
Tomatoes also contain vitamin A, C, calcium and potassium.
“feel the thing you are afraid to feel”
for me, that often is loneliness
we come to the conclusion something is wrong with us when our search for a partner doesn’t turn out the way we want it to
we feel embarrassed of what others think when in truth, I know every single season of loneliness I have is going to change me for the better
I’m going to come out stronger
I’m going to become more and more of the woman I want to be
and I’m going to grow in ways I never thought I could
changing from a habit of partner searching to soul searching is one of the most worthwhile things I know I’m ever going to do
and while it may be frustrating to convince the ones around me of my intentions and where my heart is at I am keeping in mind the only person I ever have to please is myself 💕

I spent a lot of time being afraid of dairy and I’m really glad I’m not anymore because I LOVE it. Years later I’m still excited to eat it without anxiety 🤗 Where are my fellow dairy lovers!? Baby and I say 👋🏻
I used to think my body didn’t like it but as it turns out, I was more judgmental of food than it was 🤷🏻♀️
Is there a food (or foods) you’re more scared of than your body is? Are you creating an issue when there isn’t one? 🤔
PS this isn’t an ad, but we do love @noosayoghurt!
