Even someone who has done multiple Whole30 sometimes doesn’t make it though a round. This just wasn’t the right time to do a Whole30 but I’ll look at it as a 12 day reset instead of a failed Whole30. I went out with the girls this evening so Rick was on his own. He's usually with the guys but he had some reading to get done and needed the solo time for himself. After a couple hours of tennis at T Bar M Racquet Club, he showered and drove down to a place he’s been wanting to try, Pazzo Uptown. He ordered a glass of Cab to get things started. His dinner consisted of a bowl of Lentil Soup followed by The Crispy Piece of the Lasagna (pictured) (Bolognese, Spinach Noodles, Fresh & Aged Cheeses). He said the Soup was Outstanding. The Lasagna was Exceptional! Rick went to school in St. Louis and dined on The Hill often. He lived in New York City for a few months where you can find some of the best Italian food in the world. And he's been to Italy many times. He said the Lasagna at Pazzo Uptown could possibly be the best he's ever tasted. It's that Good! Check out the menu. There are all kinds of Appetizers (here's a few--Calamari Fritto, Meatballs, Crispy Eggplant), Toasts like Bruschetta, Crispy Polenta Cakes, Burrata & more! I learned how to make authentic Cajun shrimp and grits last night. Our dear friend @kristiahnaclark taught us this recipe, and I can’t wait to recreate it. It was so simple and easy. Prep for a vegetable miso soup! Nappa cabbage, kale, mushroom, and carrots. The soup we used a kombu stock. It was great. What vegetables do you like in your soups?? We cooked everything in our stone pot that we got from @hmartofficial

We got together with 4 couples last Saturday evening to dine at Platia Greek Kouzina in Frisco. First we stopped by Sheila & Bill's house to sip on a glass of wine just to get the palate ready and enjoy good company! Platia is BYOB so be sure to bring your favorite bottle with you!
