Think you’re not eating that much sugar? Even we are surprised at how much it adds up! Just think, 1 Tbsp. of raw honey has 4 tsp. of sugar, which almost meets the 6 tsp. recommended upper limit for added sugar per day for women (9 tsp. for men). A popular green juice has 7 tsp. and on it goes if you just start to notice.
This is a handy tip when reading labels, but do make sure you multiply for the serving size because that can be sneaky.

Why am I doing this?
Because I want to “refresh” my gut and give it a clean start before my next workout program .
I’ve eaten a lot of crap on my month long vacation and usually do this cleanse after Im back .
Alkalize the body & reduce the acidic level .
I have done this cleanse last year and lost 2 inches off my waist and lost 4 lbs in 3 days.
Yes I will loose weight & inches in these 3 days but that is not my ultimate goal.
I love that I can feel lighter & leaner and get my mind in line to stick to clean eating .

Since going vegan, I had a roller coaster of a ride relationship with food. There were times where I ate only smoothie bowls for breakfast and lunch and then a cooked meal for dinner. There were times when I only ate oatmeal for all my meals for a consecutive period of days. There were even times when I switched to eating meatless meat and soy based cheese and mayonnaise products. (Now, I’m not in favour of these particular products, however, I do think that these vegan products are a step in the right direction.) But anyway, food is a crucial part overall health and well-being, and it’s SOO important to know what and how to eat for your body.
It’s during most times when I was eating only smoothie bowls (or oatmeal) for breakfast, lunch and sometimes even dinner, or oatmeal, it definitely took a toll on my overall health and wellbeing. Being aware of what you put in your body and how you feel afterwards is key to know what is ACTUALLY good for your body. And I get it, sometimes it’s difficult because you might be in a rush to go somewhere or you’re distracted with something else going on in your life, but it’s important to prioritize what’s important to you in your life because after all, #healthiswealth 🍏🍓🍎🥑🥕🍌🍇🍉🥝🍆 #Hippocrates

I drank one of these containers of coconut water yesterday, and upon waking up this morning I noticed a huge difference in my skin - it looked more plump and hydrated. Finished off my European adventure by white water rafting in Iceland! It was a team building activity that was truly once in a lifetime.
