Pumpkin cake dessert inspired by Yayoi Kusama's art style.
As we were taking a break in the cafeteria from the fun Yayoi Kusama exhibit, we noticed there was a special menu in the form of a dessert inspired by the artist's pumpkin installation.
This dessert is aptly pumpkin-flavored. With cream pudding based main dessert dressed in pumpkin flavored sauce with biscuit underneath, and pumpkin spice reduction dots adorning the plate

We didn't expect much for a seasonal / eventual menu we just want to try it. Boy, we were so wrong to underestimate this dish.
It was actually a very tasty dessert even without the gimmick. Plus the design and plating, we give two thumbs up to National Gallery Singapore's cafeteria team!!! This goes to show sometimes you can find the best food in unexpected places.
