Who loves pumpkin pie? 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️
We love 🧡 all sorts of pie 🥧 but for Thanksgiving 🦃, pumpkin ok is a must! But rather than make yet another pie, we got creative and deconstructed it and came up with individual pumpkin custards topped with cinnamon maple cream and crushed cinnamon Graham crackers ( @pamelasproducts are the best! ). This recipe is so nutritious and delicious (secret ingredient) that you could eat it for breakfast! Grab the re pie in the link in the bio 👆🏻and tag a friend who loves🧡 pumpkin pie 🥧 and would go crazy for this recipe! 👇🏻
Back on track today.
One of my secrets to success, easy healthy meals!
I packed this salad for lunch today, after being gone all weekend. It literally took like 5 minutes to throw together!
And I make my own, easy dressing!!! #deliciousandnutritious#easymeals
Breakfast situation. I love taking time to sit in my backyard, watch my growing plant babies and enjoy the sunshine before I start my day. Here I have overnight oats with chia seeds in coconut milk topped with a variety of fruit and nuts accompanied with a wholesome turmeric latte. .
Turmeric latte: 250ml almond milk, 1 tsp ground turmeric, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/2 tsp ground ginger, 1/2 tsp allspice, a dash of black pepper and 1 tsp of honey. Put on stove, stir vigorously. .
Anybody else know somebody who loves caramel? 🙋🏻♀️
My caramel lover asked me yesterday, “Have we gotten it, yet?” Yikes! Thanks for the huge reminder for me to order it before it gets gone!
I have heard nothing but amazing things from friends who have tried it. Between the rave reviews and it being a new seasonal flavor, it won’t be around for long.
Done! 14 Salted Caramel Shakes on the way! 14 complete, nutritious , nothing artificial easy meals that taste like a treat about to land on my front porch. Along with several other special seasonal goodies that I ordered in a bundle.
We don’t have to skimp on yumminess over the holidays, or anytime of the year, with daily treats like these in the house.
I love making steak bowls. This is a breakfast bowl with sirloin, red, gold, and purple potatoes diced and seasoned with dried herbs, scrambled eggs, and scallions. This is a perfect way to make sure you’re getting quality protein, fat, and carbs to start your day off right. A side of fruit with this makes a complete breakfast!
Good Mornin, Oregon!!! Take us wherever you land... beach or lakes, work or play, mountains or flatland.... its all good with our bottles of organic, micronutrient dense, raw #coldpressedjuice in the cooler 💚 ☀️ 🏔 🏝 🌊 💚.

BUDGET MEALS 💰 .
Here’s a delicious, cheap and easy recipe for a veggie Moroccan couscous 🤤 .
What you need: .
- 2 medium onions, diced
- 350g pack of quorn mince
. - 1tsp cinnamon
- 1tbsp ground cumin
- 2tbsp ground turmeric .
- 100g dried apricots, quartered
- 600ml vegetable stock
- 280g couscous
- 2 lemons, zest grated
- 4 tbsp fresh mint
- 50g raw cashews, toasted in a pan on the hob .
1️⃣ Heat the oil in a pan, fry off onions gently until soft.
2️⃣ Stir in the quorn mince along with the spices, apricots and stock. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and cook gently for 15-20 mins.
3️⃣ While that cooks, make up the couscous following the instructions on its packaging. Mix the lemon zest and mint through.
4️⃣ When serving, scatter toasted cashews over the top and enjoy!
This recipe serves 4 so is great for lunch box left overs! It is high in protein and gives a source of iron and fibre. It’s also quick and easy as well as being budget friendly! ☺️💕
Just made a batch of mood boosting chocolate orange energy balls, but as my hands are hurting, I've rolled them into 16 mahoosive balls instead of the usual 30.
I expect they'll get eaten just as quickly!
Oats, raw cacao, orange essential oil, milled flaxseed, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, pink salt, raisins and coconut oil 🍊🌱
Do you ever wake up after a night or a weekend of indulgence and feel like you have a food "hangover". Do you ever notice you seem to crash midday if you skip breakfast or grab fast food for lunch?
As adults we "know" how to eat for health. We"know" how different types of food will make us feel physically and mentally, and too often we ignore this knowledge and opt for food that is fast, easy, and less nutritious.
Why do we do it? Why do we choose to eat food that makes us feel horrible?
It's become a habit
Once we make these eating habits the norm it can be difficult to break the pattern. We forget how our bodies feel when fueled with nutrient rich foods. We lack the the self awareness and mindfulness to make choices that will benefit our minds and bodies.
How do we change these habits? • Slow down.
• Listen to your body, consider what is important to you.
• Make your health a priority.
• Make choices that will improve how you feel and how you function.
• Instead of eating on to the go, sit down and eat your meals without distractions or multitasking.
• Plan for health. Whether you prep your meals, or research healthier on the go options, have a plan for the day.
This doesn't mean you are never allowed to indulge, but that you are prioritizing your health over cravings and convenience.
You are choosing to be present and mindful.
It’s beginning to look a lot like .... Roast chestnut 🌰 season 🙌🏽. Make your healthy dishes more exciting, jazz up your chicken with cauliflower 🍚 ‘rice’, edamame, sweet potato 🍠, brocolletti, puy lentils aaaand Roast chestnuts 👌🏽. Finish with 1tsp of @udoschoiceofficial oil after cooking , healthy fats help your body absorb the nutrients from your food and there’s barely any fat in this dish. Tip: batch cook the chicken and sweet potato so they are already ready to quickly cook the vegetables, #5minutemeals ————————————————-
I’m not vegetarian but equally I don’t enjoy beef burgers, and since I’m always trying to get people to eat more vegetables, I had a go at making vegetarian burgers at the weekend.
My youngest wasn’t a fan, the oldest tolerated it and we thought it was delicious 💚
It was made by slowly roasting carrots, butternut squash and beetroot and then mixing them with butter beans, breadcrumbs, polenta, an egg and lots of spices - I’ll post the exact recipe later on.
You could serve it in a bun with cheese and gherkins or simply in s salad like this one. I topped mine with a dollop of creamy full fat cottage cheese and some ginger scented pickled carrots.
Lots of taste, lots of fibre, lots of vitamins and minerals, do you still not like vegetables?!
I made too many on purpose do that I could pack some for my lunch today! 🌟
Absolutely love it when the #family give the 👍 for a new dish.
#meatless Monday today was a basil pesto ricotta #lasagna using lentil lasagna sheets.
Definitely a dish that is going to be on the #dinner rotation 😋
Kimchi pancakes. For when kimchi is life.
Koreans looove kimchi (no wonder) and have found ways to make it into nearly everything.
The perfect combination of crunchy, chewy and fluffy, kimchijeon come together in no time, and disappear just as quick!
⅔ cup all-purpose flour
⅓ cup rice flour
2 tbs cornstarch
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp sugar
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 cup (tightly pack) Love Your Guts Kimchi
2 tbs kimchi juice (will add spiciness to the pancake)
3/4 cup cold Love Your Guts Kefir- any flavor, we prefer passionfruit (kefir makes em fluffy!)
1 egg, lightly beaten
6 sliced thin green onions
1 red chili, sliced
1 tbs soy sauce
1½ tsp rice vinegar
½ – 1 tsp water
⅛ tsp sugar
½ tsp toasted sesame seeds
In a bowl, whisk together the all purpose flour, rice flour, cornstarch, onion powder, garlic powder, sugar, salt and pepper. Add the kimchi, kimchi juice, water kefir, egg, and half of the green onions. Using a spoon, mix to combine until there is no visible flour. Pre-heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add 2-3 tbs of oil. When the pan is hot, pour half the batter into the pan. You should hear sizzling (if not the pan is not hot enough and won't be crisp). Spread the batter and kimchi to even thickness. Top the pancake with half the remaining green onions and half the red chilies. Fry the pancake for 3 minutes. Carefully flip and fry for another 3 minutes. Slice the pancakes into squares or wedges. Serve immediately with dipping sauce.
You're welcome 🤙

Eat more fruit and veg 🍉🌟 what a thing to wake up to on a Monday morning! A healthful boost knows no end of wonders. Happy new week - I’ve decided to share the 5 (plus the extra 6th) top tips for health and happiness as discussed by the amazingly inspiring @thehappypear at @vevolution_ the other day. To say they put a smile on everyone’s face is an understatement, I genuinely felt happier and healthier after listening to their talk.
Top tip number 1 for a happy and healthy life is to eat more fruit and veg! Now, if you know me (or have seen my posts) at all, then you’ll know that these super-but-every-foods feature very heavily in my day. No matter what meal, I’ll always pack in a couple of portions... it because we’re told to by the government but because they taste great and make me feeling amazing!
They’re full of vitamins, minerals and lots of lovely fibre which all help our bodies stay regular, make us glow from the inside and make us feel alive! 💥
What are your favourites? I’m a huge avo-addict, I love berries and cucumber has forever been my friend. Recently I’m into roast squash, Brussel sprouts and apples (with peanut butter) Oo and persimmons... I could go on!
I’ll pack them into anything I can so I was super excited when my friend brought round a slice of her pumpkin bread 🧡
So I made this...
Spiced Pumpkin Walnut Loaf 👆🏼 topped w/ vanilla @coyo_uk + cacao crispies @rawgorilla + cacao nibs @naturesheartsuperfoods + pecan and fig nut butter @nuturalworld 🙌🏼 the dream!

I made this pot of soup with fresh and canned veggies, rice noodles, and tofu. Water, spices, coconut milk and herbs for flavor. Give veggies, fruits, grains and beans a try. For our friends in Cali and all over the world, and for you. Let's keep our land and sea around, so we can get outside and enjoy it's beauty. 🌄⛰🏖🏕🏜 #foodgram#vegan#motherearth

I never use the whole box/bag of pasta so for this one I mixed whatever was left in different opened packages to make an avo garlic pesto mixed pasta 🙃🙃. I didn't use a mortar this time to make the paste...I used a blender( easy modern lazy way😃). It came out delicious anyway!
#whatsonmyplate : mixed pasta types , paste ( avocado, basil ..a lot of basil, garlic, olive oil, salt,pepper...blended)
The best pasta I ever ate! 😂
Give it a try and let me know if you like it!
Don't forget to tag a pasta lover !
