The last dishes @etoilerestaurang .... the ’icecream’ was not an ordinary one as you might understand, but made of ’Tom ka Gai’ thai soup... The sherry was made of tonka been (and the things in the plant was of course also eatable). Finally their own version of the Swedish cookie ’Ballerina’, plus a little ’doggybag’ with three Bon bons... Sebastian og jeg har sammen med børnehaven gået med i lysfesten, som bliver holdt hvert år 🕯 Vi endte alle nede i kirken, hvorefter der var Lucia, tale fra præsten, sange osv. Vi var først hjemme halv 6, så det skulle være nem aftensmad. Drengene ønskede rugbrød, hvilket de ofte gør (?) 🤨, og mor her fik en lækker thai-cube. Det kunne da ikke være nemmere 😅.

You cannot ‘not see’ this decadent signature chocolatey dessert by the Coffee Shop, @wasabipakistan . Layered with a smooth chocolate ganache, wafferinos, almonds and chocolate kisses, this had me drooling and wagging for more.
Priced at PKR 800+tax.
Value for money: 7.5/10
This dreamy dessert is nothing short of an eye candy. Tremendously rich chocolate fudge brownie was superbly done. Moistened, spongy and rightly sweet, I really liked the texture which was really soft and airy. Topped off with a layer of decadent of chocolate mousse that was equally rich with a mildly sweet taste. Front lining this dessert was a smooth, thick and palatable layer of chocolate ganache, which tasted really fine, though I wanted a little lesser of it. It was faintly sweet and in just the right balance with the mousse. The garnishing wins the cake, with crunchy wafferinos ( I loved the pattern though) were amazingly crunchy and wafery. Golden painted almonds are a nice addition and I loved the chocolate ganache and caramel kisses on the layer. All in all, it was a hearty dessert.
Though it was excellent, I felt that it was overpriced, but hello that’s Wasabi. You gotta see it to believe it. The dessert was quite fulfilling though.
Worthy of another post on its ambience, I particularly loved the place. Impeccably clean place, gorgeous statues, beautiful green and red hues, statuesque detailing, live kitchen, and an elegantly done decor, I am all over in love with Wasabi.
Main courses for the next time, Wasabi is all about elegance, class and exceptional taste, and an exaggerated price tag.
